Animal conservation/capture no longer gives squad standing and nightwave

Why did DE remove the shared standing for animal captures and the shared achievement towards nightwave acts? I did it with two different players and I am only getting the tags as shared.

If this is not a glitch then there really is no incentive to team up for animal captures. Rather the opposite, there is an incentive to solo because then you do not compete for the animals.

Yea I am perplexed as to why they changed this. I am equally confused.

I ask as when I do the missions with my wife, we are next to each other for the capture

Yes. Did you do this recently?

Try it again then. Previous nightwave is like a month ago. I did it this week and previous week.

Just checked. Random animals don't count with anyone in the group, and tracking and hunting didn't count for the second player.

once separated a random animal capture counted. I think some code might be wonky as While capturing my partner walked back into range and nothing counted again.
