Some people will advice you to "just not log in for several weeks" for a good discount, but that only seems to work because the game is set to give you a discount every X amount of days. I log in daily and get 75% off all the time. The only thing that seems to influence it (from my experience) is that buying plat with a low discount will make the chance of getting 75% much lower, but that could've been RNG too.
