When I run the game on series X they are visible just fine.

its the same reason PlayStation has no mouse and keyboard support, they were probably payed by Microsoft

No amount of Sony's magical marketing BS will amount to anything otherwise with all the tests and comparisons that have been done. What you're comparing is your SSD's load times vs. a Hard Drive's load times (Or in the Switch's case, they're most likely using the microSD card which is its own can of not-so-impressive worms). 

i load open worlds in exactly 3 seconds on ps5... idk how fast u load
