Multiple copies of the same frame/weapon

I tried to find another topic about this, but honestly, I'm short on time right now.

 

Some people have multiple copies of frames and weapons for different purposes, just give us a menu to select which weapon/frame to select in the same category in the "configure" screen.

It's odd right now, you seem to have to have the downlevel item to avoid repeatedly seeing a weapon or frame on the list even if you have the prime, prisma etc. That means re-farming them out if you no longer have them. But having done that you can never play them.  For example I have a fully built original excalibur with fully formad and incarnon versions of the starter weapons. Why you ask? well you end up finding things to do like playing SP with the starter frame and weapons so adding the incarnons to them was the choice I made.  I would prefer to be offered that instead of excel umbra and my mk1s are better than my primes for those particular weapons. In some cases I may have a decent enough build on the non prime version of something and have decided that time had passed the prime by, or I just didn't like the frame and therefore just treated it as MR fodder when it came up. Being able to play those fully built non prime variants would be good.

If it does need to be automatic perhaps prioritise the version with incarnon attached over those that don't have it, and then versions with a full build over those without. As it is I went back and removed all the mods from anything that was just MR fodder to avoid having to keep selecting "default" so perhaps when you have a choice of a formaless, modless, arcaneness, potatoless  version over a fully built one, offer the fully built one.

Automatic selection will be an issue for everyone, just select the "type" or frame/weapon and the player select the version in the configure prompt. Having multiple kuva/tenet weapons alongside the syndicate and prisma/wraith/vandal will make better for everyone.

 

And I do share the Vanilla Excalibur problem. My Normal excal does way more damage that Umbra just because I didn't wanted to erase the umbra polarities. I know that there's a lore issue, but c'mon DE, give us the ability to buy Umbra from simaris and have a second one.
