Animation of Warframes after leaving it

Recommended Posts

A while back, I bought the Harrow Animation Set because I thought the idle animation looked very cool. I was hoping that when I entered Operator mode, my Warframe would still perform the animation, but it didn't. Would it be possible for the Warframe developers to implement a feature where the equipped idle stance animation is retained when leaving the Warframe?Currently, when I enter Operator mode, my Warframe simply stands there without any connection to the equipped animation set.

When you're in operator mode the sentient component of the warframe is no longer present. It makes no sense for warframes to remain animated while using the operator.

(Except Umbra)

Perhaps someday we will be able to restore the sentience to warframes again, Most likely would only be primes considering they are the original (Or what is lead to believe

I`m suggesting that if the Harrow Noble idle animation is selected, it would be great if the Warframe remained in that stationary position even when you exit or leave the Warframe. Instead of the Warframe transitioning back to a default standing position, it would maintain the specific pose from the Harrow Noble idle animation. This would ensure that the animation remains consistent and visually appealing.

So what you are suggesting is the animation state change to the idle (if even without actually animating) which would be confusing to players since one of the indicators that an idle standing frame is not an afk player is the lack of custom idle stance.

Not all idle animation frames are aesthetically nice looking. Even if your suggestion were to be implemented, I could see your same complaint raised because the best idle animation frames aren't used while in transference.

Maybe they could implement a feature where you can customize an idle stance for your Warframe, for example, in your Operator/Warframe customization.

It would definitely enhance the visual appeal if the Warframe maintained a customized idle stance instead of being stuck in a half T-pose when not in action.

The half t pose or whatever it is makes a lot of sense though.

You literally leave the frame in a dead state. It isn't just sitting there waiting for you to return. It is like taking off a suit of armor. It makes sense that it not be at rest as though a person were still inside.
