Falling out of the map & not able to complete mission after revive

I see we don't have the ability to include images so i've uploaded them.

I knocked over a cup of tea and had to pause the game (playing solo on third mercury mission), alt tabbed out while I cleaned it up. Came back to the game and I was outside the map. Fell for about a minute then had to revive to continue (I had all 4 pieces of data), got to the end of the mission and because I didn't have the data on me I couldn't complete it.

My guess is the data was outside the map!
