Can the Female Operator/Drifter outfits get some love?

I'm sure it's been suggested before, though I'd personally love to have some outfits that actually fit a female operator/drifter better than a spacesuit that makes you look like a 13-year-old boy.  Why are all the outfits you can wear just compressed boy ninja suits? There is nothing that actually screams, cute/beautiful. Nothing with wonderful designs or patterns, it's just rigid & bland boy suits.

While I love the atmosphere, surely the operator/drifter could have a few outfits that they could wear/enjoy.

Love the game, would just love to see some love towards a few female outfits too.

I think the main issue there is that they don't really have a 'gender' selection either. Like I was never given a choice (at least to my memory) of selecting a male or female operator, just hair, face, and voice. It's more like a rough clay doll that you model into what you want. But I do fully agree we need more feminine attire.

The "gender selection" is choosing Face 1, that's what assigns you the body type for either sex

Which is a really garbage system, especially given that you're not told what face is what sex and most of them are completely androgynous

Honestly, I don't really care if the game uses gender ambiguity to provide a way to identify for those who are non-binary, etc. Outside of "gender ambiguity ness/sex" ..

I'm just asking for some female fashion that doesn't look like a 12-year-old boy dressing up for a space comicon and grabbing the first potato sack they could find.

There is an ocean of sci-fi female fashion that could be created, and while the operator is not always seen, the drifter is pretty common, especially in duviri.

<3 the Game, appreciate the devs & the fanbase, just please DE considers those of us who would gladly opt for some non-drabby outfits. I'd gladly pay plat for some premium outfits that don't look potato sack ninaj boy 1-3.

If you unequip your suit, there will be noticeable differences between body types when you switch faces.

Bishamo looks infinitely better on fem operators, so at least there's that. Maybe not "cute" in all senses.

If I were to guess, it would be that classical cuteness or beauty in fashion goes against the aesthetic of the game. The operators were not given much opportunity for expression aboard the Zariman, and the entire system has been reduced to military-industrial complex since. Of course that doesn't at all necessarily preclude something upsetting that in the future. The operators themselves were a massive shock to the players, so I can see a world where space-Harajuku fashion becomes prominent. Maybe from Baro...

That's a tight balance between in-universe consistency and the availability of multiple choice tbh. I can tolerate anime style garbage glyphs with cute pandas/bears as they're just that, glyphs, but I'd start having problems seeing Drifters with Fomula 1 hats, football team jerseys and colorful skirts/dresses.

I guess there's also the technical aspects, going for body types rather than straight male/female implies that they have to design multiple of each outfits for them to be worn perfectly (or as much as it can be).
