After Cross Save: old Warframes - dual energy color slots, new - single slot. (Returning player)

UPDATE: The subject has been clarified and the confusion has been resolved. 

After cross save I see that my original warframe has a dual colour slot for energy (for warframe and for attachments), but new warframes only got a single slot. 

Is this a bug or an intended change? Or is there a setting I turn on to have a dual color slot?

What do you mean with "new warframe"? Like a freshly built one? That's normal, all items have one energy color channel until you put a Forma into them.

For example: I had an old Atlas (from 5 years ago), after the merge this atlas kept a dual energy slot setup. I just built Atlas prime - and it only got a single energy slot.

Yeah, that's normal. Once Atlas Prime has a Forma in him he'll have 2 colors as well.

Oh got it. It's been a while, and after seeing the I was kinda wondering if it's a bug or something changed for the past 5-6 years I couldn't play the game. Thanks for clarifying!
