Well it worked out nonetheless.

I watched it on the app and in the browser and could collect it in the browser

Dear DE, i gladly like to inform you that while i finished and got the item via stream, it did not appear on my in game inventory. i checked the twitch drops and i can clearly see it claimed. how can i get the item?

Unlink and relink your accounts.

Yes. Everything works for WATCHING. For CLAIMING, everything works EXCEPT the iOS twitch app. 
 

Personally, I watch using the twitch iOS app and I claim using Google Chrome iOS (all on my iPhone).

The main post really should be updated, that drops can still be claimed on iOS through a web browser:

1. Open Safari.
2. Go to twitch.com.
3. Request the desktop site.
4. Claim.

i tried to claim the twitch drops from the last prime time stream(the rhino noggle one) and it isn’t allowing me to claim them while on pc. i unlinked and relinked my account but that didn’t help. does anyone have any advice? thanks!
