His emissive color doesn’t process the correct status effects. Regardless of whatever color is chosen for the element to proc it will only proc heat, in the simulacrum it will only proc electric please for the love of god make it a toggle have to leave and change emissive colors instead of just swapping during mission is tedious especially if it’s not procing the correct elements when you want it to.

Do you have an issue when you try change elements during the mission using your 1st ability?

Also I don't have the issue you described, where the starting element chosen by your emissive color doesn't match what you choose in game. So I'm not sure what's happening on your end?

I'll have to double check but I had no problem switching my colors to go from heat to toxin on my build that has the 1 subsumed out

Simulacrum has been bugged for ages, you have to leave the relay and return after making changes to your frame or weapons. It will show wrong damage values as well if you change mods.
