ArzenJames Posted May 12 Posted May 12 (edited) I don't know how to start to number the several problems in this weapon, but I'll try. The first issue with this weapon is simple; the stats. A low critical chance and a almost non existent status chance (Not mention the useless exilus slot), also a damage distribution focussed mainly on puncture. But also there is the another issue; the moveset, I know that Archmelee system is REALLY outdated but, Why don't just fix the mechanic since it is in a regular playable frame? Heavy attack doesn't exist in this weapon, so theres no point to build it in that way, but do you know what's funny? That "combo focussed builds" doesn't work either, What's the point of this weapon, really? There are at least two ways you can improve this, allowing to use "Weeping Wounds" and "Blood Rush" in this, or simply by fixing the stats of it. Any of these is better than just doing nothing. I don't think that Tennokai could work because that implies to add a heavy attack mechanic into Archmelee system, but at least, add just one useful exilus mod to the Diwata, I don't know, could be an augment or something. Don't let this weapon this bad, Why add it in the first place if you gonna let it useless. If that, just delete it from the frame, less is more. Point of this weapon is having something to do when your Dex Pixia is reloading. It has decent damage per hit, insane attack speed (with Razorwing Aug) and ok follow through of 0,7. It is capable to killing groups in SP. What build are you using and what kind of enemies you're killing? I've build my t.gun to be quick (shooting & recharging) and I use rolling/dashing rather than melee. I've not invested in this too much. So I'm just curious about it (not saying it's bad or good).

That's 'cause currently Diwata isn't a thing. The idea is for Titania's playstyle to change to include Diwata in it, since it's already there. IDC if that means overhauling the whole archmelee system (which is seriously needed, btw), or divorcing Diwata from it even more, but something needs to be done. Today Diwata is an archmelee that allows you to put in melee mods, but many of them don't work because it's an archmelee and not a melee weapon. As it is today, it could be replaced by "allows Titania to equip an archmelee weapon with archmelee mods", and would probably work better, as at least it wouldn't mandate for you to go on a google deep dive, or hours upon hours of playtest to research which mods work and which don't (as there's a lot of contradicting info even in these forums, and it's impossible to extrapolate a rule, you need to go through them one at a time). TL;DR: DE needs to decide what Diwata is: Melee (means melee mods, melee mechanics, heavy attack, tennokai, blood rush, life strike, etc) Archmelee (archmelee mods, it will continue to suck until they rework archmelee, but at least we will know what to expect) Half-and-half (build something entirely new, initially solely for Diwata, but it could become an "Archmelee Deployer" eventually, similar to what they did with archguns and Profit-Taker) Once that's done, they need to rework Diwata to be that, because now it's option D: None of the above.
