duenor
well i cold rebooted my router and it seems to be gone for now. not sure what it is, can't see how just rebooting the router would do it... but hey, it works. i basically unplugged it and plugged it back in 4 mins later (the router). Fluffy_Nox
So I sent a support ticket about this problem , attached my EE.log and DxDiag ... and just like on this forum didn't get any answers :/ It's been 5 days now and it's really not cool of you DE !!!... and that is a huge understatment, because I don't want to use curse words !!! Why can't I join the session ???? Edited December 5, 2014 by Nox-CRO
-CM-BlackCrusader
Still no answers from DE about this issue? It feels very lonely out there in space. Not to mention a lot of missions (farming) are impossible...

PartyCow
1000 hours of play. now all of a sudden in past 7 days get "Warframe needs UDP 4950 and 4955 ports open" popup. In last two days, can no longer receive invites. Haven't changed anything. Tried port forwarding this way: 1) set static ip on my desktop wired to the router 2) set port fowarding rules on my router for my desktop's IP on those ports still no dice. windows firewall clearly allows warframe. hm? I'm getting exactly the same problem it's so damn annoying
Rayana
Same for me now, I was playing (with matchmaking) an hour ago. Now it doesn t work any more, tells me that I should check ports 4950 and 4955. My PC was running all the time, my router too. I didn t change a bit. Checked on Windows Firewall. All fine. What the hell's goin on?
sLipeLy
"War frame Support is currently under heavy load. Please expect longer than usual processing times while we work through the backlog." Every time I go to make a ticket this is what i see. Every time. Same as the poster above me. Been playing warframe 2 weeks straight only minor problems and then this happens. I feel bad for Nox-CRO. 5 days without an answer. I went through 2 days before i got a reply and even then i solved it on my own.
OneMember
Untill this mornign all was good and didn't have issues with NAT. But now that strick NAT message is all I get.
lSphinx
Game tells me to Enable UDP Ports 4950 and 4955 in Firewall Settings. Didt that, it still keeps telling me to check if they are enabled and i still cant join any match. What is the problem then?
PartyChief
Clearly something went wrong wiht this update i have completly allowed warframe on all the ports you menton and i still get the error unless i wan to play solo misions there is no reaosn to be paying warframe till this issue is fixed
morganov
Same thing is happening to me. IDK, if this a server-wide bug, or just a few people are affected.
Rayana
my guess is, that it isn't serverwide, cause there are a lot of groups on alarm missions, so for some it seems to work out just fine :(
hea0dk
good to hear that i am no the only having that issue. so far i can see i send the udp packet to port 4950 with my public ip addressee but i never get and answer from there server 192.184.13.42 :( i was a bit confusion why i could not get it working XD but if theri server/service is down that i answer my problem Edited January 18, 2015 by hea0dk
JTRch
Are the server down? My collegues and I have all the same problem today. B.M.B.T.
The tutorials were all for Windows Firewall which is now automatically configured by the launcher so they were removed. I only have windows firewall, yet it still says my firewall is blocking udp ports 4950 and 4955. How do i fix this?
harmaakettu
Same here, played last night with GF without any problems and this morning when we wake up today we get this error. Tried with 2 different computers, router firewall allowing all and every other possible firewall turned off. Neither of us gets to play.

Rayana
weird, I tried it with my mobile connection, and the same error again. One of my gaming buddys (location: Stuttgart, Germany) can play, although he has the same error message. I can't play: Location: Munich, Germany). Arion1
Mr. Glen, howcome everyone has this problem starting today? Everyone could not have enabled strict firewall at the same time could they? or are you still denying that this is your fault (DE)

Ghost
Still a problem! According to Warframe of course it's my fault since I maliciously closed UDP 4950 and 4955 while asleep. - However I saw a red message in-game that this could be due to a recent Windows Firewall update, but you'd think DE would post it here in this thread too. Maybe I dreamt it? Either way, here's hoping whatever is wrong gets fixed soon. edit: fixed to make prettier Edited January 18, 2015 by Rodeo
