Capitaine_Courage Posted June 26, 2018 Share Posted June 26, 2018 (edited) I don't know if this can help, but I had the same problem last week, since the last update The launcher was locked and sending me the usual error message, without being able to update the game and chek its files I tried to restart my ADSL, delete the game then install and test it again with the Steam client as much as the standalone one, used a VPN and tested it from numerous locations (EU ans US) .... nothing worked. It was actually RAZER Synpase that was causing the bug for me (I'm using a Razer Naga). I closed the launcher, closed steam, closed synapse, then relaunched steam and Warframe without it. It worked, the launcher could finish the DL, patch the game, check the files and allow me to play normally. If I try to launch it again with Synapse, it locks me out of the game. I'm going to guess that legitimate traffic is getting flagged and throttled in error, resulting in those 403 errors. That also explains why going through a VPN can fix the issue for some, as it's possible the throttling happening by CIDR ranges, which can affect many users from an ISP. I'd also bet that your ISPs phone internet end up on different IP blocks that are relatively unused compared to broadband, so less likely to be throttled. raw446 Posted July 4, 2018 Share Posted July 4, 2018 I have a problem here I haven't played the for 5 months and now I need to download 4GB but every time I start the update it downloads only 1-5 MB and then it goes from 0% to 100% and after that it says update failed and it will be restarted shortly but nothing happens and I keep on closing and restarting it and it's the same thing I can't finish the update at all Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lostcowboy Posted July 15, 2018 Share Posted July 15, 2018 Problem, I am on liquidsky testing games off steam to see if they will work on liquidsky. In Steam i click on the Warframe install button, the download and installl work, but when I click on play game in steam The game starts then says updating, then a popup says that update servers are offline, I have tried this several days now but always get the same error. I live in denton texas, and connect to the liquidsky dallas server. One thing I don't understand is if this is a brand new install off of Steam why is the game trying to update, one of the points of steam is it keeps your games up todate for you, so when you start a game it starts right up, no waiting. Is Warframe not puttting updates on the Steam servers? Why put it on Steam then? Is the version on steam so old that the game can't find the update servers? Or could there be some kind of black list that liquidsky is on? Liquidsky only allows you to play games that you have a right to play. So it should not be on any black list. Game launcher starts, checks for updates, goes to verifying download cache...and goes to "UPDATE FAILED" page, saying to contact support the the given war number but never gives one. Started happening 2 days ago... Have tried EVERYTHING. Verifying, optimizing, windows update, VCredist reinstall, DX reinstall, Full uninstall/reinstall of game. Even tried the stand alone download from the website directly. On a full clean install, the launcher starts and still fails. I am at my whits end. Everything is updated and good, nothing changed on the machine from when the game was working, to now it not updating...no patch on steam, nothing anywhere. I just randomly launched it today and now it wont work anymore. That has popped up even after reinstall and waiting for an hour an such. I am a Mac player who uses Gforce to play warframe so my solution may be different. Step 1: turn on VPN (make sure all launchers are quit before hand) Step 2: use warframe launcher and log in completely (so basically until u get into your orbiter) step 3: turn VPN off (some VPN make your game lag or have limited amounts of time you can use them. Turning my VPN off crashes my game but I am able to get back in the the resume game button Gforce has, I think my game only crashes because I use Gforce) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
