Bring back melee heavy attack mid-air or get an alternative heavy option mid-air

For me, as a player who has always preferred melee combat in general, not being able to perform heavy melee attacks in the air is very sad. When it was patched out, I didn't even know what value it had for the Exodia Contagion. Rather, I used it in almost every mission as a mobility option for heavy attacks and also as the only option to be able to deliver a heavy hit in the air.

For example, to hit enemies on the head (for headshot multiplier) or simply to start the fight in the air on a higher floor. Especially at higher levels, it was a big help to be able to launch heavy attacks in the air and not just from the ground.  

Isn't it possible to have a special heavy melee attack (I mean a real hit in the air and not just a hit which directly leads to the ground like heavy slam) that doesn't work on Exodia Contagion?  

I really miss this mobility option, especially for melee heavy attack builds.

Yea I also used it to start up my heavy attack while still in the air. It sucks that it was patched out. Heavy slams are atleast usuable now I guess but that's not a full replacement if you work with melee types that apply certain guaranteed procs on their regular heavies.

True, me and a Friend learned to love it because it just felt so good movement-wise plus it made landing heavy attacks on targets like drones much easier. I really dont get why they removed it and hope they bring it back soon, without it i feel like im missing something tbh.

Thanks to this all my melee builds are useless, i would appreciate if they make melee heavy attacks mid air possible again too, so the mobility isnt unnecessarily limited.
