Oreades
On a whim I started using the Ghoul Saw and it's a fairly fun weapon a bit slow/clunky but that fits the aesthetic. There are just two small changes to the Ghoulsaw that I think could make it a really fun weapon. The first is kind of a glitch? With the held attack where you run forward (W + E) and it just auto saws things that get in front of you as you're running, legitimately great concept the one flaw is that there is a notable stutter(?) I'm assuming when the game resets(?) the animation even tho there really is no animation? You'll run forward for a while pause for maybe half a second or less and then keep running, the periodic hitching is just sorta off putting. maybe changing it from the fixed position animation to an animation where the warframe changes the tilt of the blade from left to right on attack refresh and fixed up/down when it is interacting with a target? The second thing is more of a QoL. When riding the Ghoulsaw (W + M1(2?) + E), the travel animation is really cool but the travel distance and the forced dismount/attack after that short distance is kinda anticlimactic. It just feels to me like it would flow better if the riding was similar to the running where you just kept going until you decided to stop and when you stopped it would preform the dismount attack. I messed around with some animation canceling by transitioning into a roll near the end of the travel distance and then right back into the travel animation and it was really clunky but also fun to be able to skrrrrt around on the sawblade. I don't think either of those changes would effect the DPS in any meaningful way but I think they would make the Ghoulsaw a really gratifying weapon to use.
