FiendLuckless
The 'Fire Manual Trigger Weapons Continuously' setting does not work with weapons that have a Duplex trigger (which is only the Tigris/Zylok and all of their variations). I am unsure if this is a bug or not, but I believe it should apply just like every other firing mode. Any confirmation/info is appreciated.
RobWasHere
Duplex trigger is a sort of charge trigger, holding button shoots one bullet then releasing the button shoots another one, that's why it doesn't work with auto fire setting. In my opinion its redundant and could safely be replaced by standard burst mode - the era when Tigris one-shotted most of enemies in one bullet so you used the duplex to reserve ammo is long gone and with ammo mutation there is no more concern about ammo reserve.

I understand that, but I still believe it should work with the setting especially with the Zylok. Especially considering that charge weapons work with the setting, it is the only trigger type that does not work with said setting. Edit: One of the only trigger types Edited September 28 by FiendLuckless

Charge-and-hold triggers in general ignore that setting. i.e., weapons where shots are held until the trigger is released. Bows being the most prominent example, but also Lanka, Epitaph, and several altfires. I can see the reasoning behind these being an exception. And the "and-hold" until release seems to be the key part, so I can understand why duplex would be treated the same way. Personally I think a second setting that would make all of these also fire continuously would be nice for accessibility reasons, though I don't think I'd use it myself. An auto-Daikyu just sounds wrong. :P But maybe I'll change my mind some day if these triggers start giving me physical discomfort.

As you said, those make more sense especially the more precision oriented weapons, but Zylok being so similar in sybaris in design makes you believe itd function identically, and in terms of gameplay they are similar. They could make it so charge and hold weapons will charge to full and release on trigger tap/charge and hold on tap and a second tap to release. Especially since charge weapons are effected by the auto trigger setting, it makes sense to cover all bases and make all trigger types as accessible as possible.
