Can you separate the fire modes for guns like the epitaph?

Been leveling the epitaph prime recently and while it has been fun to use it has also been frustrating. I just simply want to fire off a bunch of quick shots in rapid succession, but having to tap the mouse button rapidly is tiring to these old fingers. The charge shot and quick shot being on the same fire mode means that sometimes, if fire rate is high enough, I shoot off a charge shot unexpectedly and not seeing the result I want to see which adds to the frustration of using the gun.

Can we perhaps see the 2 fire modes separate and use the alt fire key to swap between them, kinda like the larkspur?

Instead of the Alt-Fire switching Fire Modes, why not just have it shoot the charged shot?

Also, iv asked something similar for the Staticor as its Semi-Auto and Charge work on the same Primary Fire button and just like the Epitath this conflict of functionality hinders the weapon`s use.

Hopefully as a toggle. Since whilst I very very much sympathise with peoples frustration, especially around ease of use and accessibility, having to use a button to switch between the modes, would personally make it harder and more frustrating for me. Especially since the Epitaph is my most used Secondary. Its ability to differ its shot, based on user discretion is one of my fav things about the weapon, and why its my most used. 

Again though, ideally the game could accomodate all types, as far as options and toggles where applicable.

staticor, ballistica, drakgoon, I wish they all used the alt-fire button for their alt fire.

Not sure why I didn't think of this first, but the way the Quartakk works might even be better. Where it has separate fire modes based on whether or not you are aiming down the sights.

You could aim to use charged shot, and hip fire for quick shot aoe while using the epitaph.

Using this method at first seems fine, but what happens if your epitaph is crit focused and you want to mainly use the charged shot? Now you are using a separate button as something you spam instead of what you are used to.
