Sepulchrum Missile Lock, and the Future for this Firing Mode

The Sepulchrum is an amazing weapon and it comes with the most unique (at the time of this posting) Alt Fire mode of micro-missiles, where the player can flag and tag individual enemies and send deadly explosive projectiles at them.

However, the UI for such a weapon is lacking a little bit, and once improved I think can be the blueprint to future weapons that can heavily benefit from the flag-and-tag firing mode. If someone has any kind of visual impairment or maybe they don't catch details that quickly, using this weapon can become cumbersome.

Instead of marking enemies with a single white dot, an entire square/diamond outline needs to be imposed over them so that we can visually catch where the missiles are going. At the same time, they need to produce a sound so we have both ways of acknowleding that something has been marked for.... ordinance. This can finally give a good direction for more artillery-based weapons, including archguns. This video should be a reference.

Now imagine this on future weapons like an archgun, the kind that is worn over the shoulders. (The wings are planted on the lower back so there is totally enough room for those.)

I'm not really sure what's wrong with having just the dots. But on the other hand, the primary fire is so good that I forget to ever swap to the alt-fire

I don't think the clunkiness of having to swap modes, aim, and fire can ever be fixed without totally overhauling it, though

The dots are fine if you are accustomed to Warframe's fast gameplay and have no vision or reflex issues either. But amidst the confusion, having something so subtle as a target indicator is not visually or audio/ly(?) appealing or concise. It also makes the idea of flag and tag systems look underwhelming and not worth investing into, when there are a whole bunch of badass weapons that can come with that.

Never settle for average
