Warframe_Sensei Posted September 19, 2024 Posted September 19, 2024 So as someone who teaches new players and has tried to get friends into the game a big issue I’ve come into is junctions require you to do solo player quests for the open worlds, often times they just want to play with their friends and the quests are confusing for them, it’s also like a 30-40 minute time investment that isolates them into lore they don’t really care about just yet making it feel like a chore rather than them unlocking a new part of the map. I understand you want new players to experience the open worlds but I also feel it’s not the core of the game, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen new players are jumping around the open world confused thinking that is were they’re supposed to be when in reality they’re in a farm island that provides them nothing. In conclusion it’s slows down progress and it ruins the multiplayer experience. 2
Lord-Taco-the-Great Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 I can see why DE doesn't give the option to do it with public lobbies, but I 100% agree people should at least be able to invite others to do it with them. An option for friends only/invite only for these would be a good compromise. 3
Fishcal Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 I would also like for solo missions to be marked as solo instead of getting a warning and kicking the existing teammate if I start these missions with a teammate? It was a little frustrating when a friend wanted play with me when I started and could for some missions but not others.
The_Swaggest_Of_Penguins Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 I think it would be nice if there were an option to join a friends solo mission as a spectator or a ghost or something. That way we could still be playing together but the solo player would still have to complete the mission on their own. Could also be a opportunity for shananagins if the spectator has very limited ability to mess with things 2
