You can't mute the stream at any point or it will stop counting the drops, if you watch two streams at the same time the drops stop counting. When ads are shown the drops also pause but are resumed after the ads end but they have a chance of stopping the drop count all together. Refreshing the page with CTRL+F5 fixes these issues. If for some reason it still doesn't work unlink your twitch account, refresh the page and link it again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Don't know if it's a bug on twitch's side or what but please fix this. You may want to consider using 2 different browsers as well. Twitch has always been a pain about drops. The biggest thing is too that you can switch tabs to other streams if you have one you really want to watch. But the best suggestion is 2 browsers with the streams on low.
