Awesome but, I would like to kindly ask you something...

Please, don't you hold all the goods for TGS anymore, it felt somehow frustrating...

Tennocon is our home, our place, if you have something big, it's there that it should be announced. I got that you are willing to come closer to Japan but guys, honestly, the whole thing of letting important announcements to TGS was really sad and discouraging for a lot of us... Please keep the big announcements on our home where we go straight up to check it out, not on the other side of the world with a tiny chunk of time to present all the things needing to rush like crazy.

i somewhat agree here... sure they wanted to have a show and something to show off at TGS and wanted it to be thematic... but just... skip the whole "unannounced update" bit at tennocon then. it felt really bad and just generally didn't sit right with a lot people to get told at an event they go to or watch for big reveals to get an announcement that their big reveal will be [DE]layed to a different event entirely they can't even attend probably.

On an unrelated note I will keep asking you to change nova's molecular prime from a tap/hold cast to a hold to switch between slow, neutral and speed molecular prime and tap to cast. this would generally feel much better in practice than how it currently is and also bring back a much beloved build in neutral nova that you simply brushed under the rug with her rework. Thank you.

Also.. consider adding some way of removing portals without having to just.. make a bunch of new ones or using their charges up? I feel like the hold cast could've been utilized for this instead of the preview that no nova player is going to use mid aim-glide lets be real.

Warframe 1999 will probably be like 10 times bigger than the koumei update.

Of all the whining that has ever occurred on these forums over the years, this is the weirdest complaint I've ever seen. And that's saying something.

Respectfully, touch grass.

No no, they have a point. Everything there was a rush job, some folks are actually still confused and think that the invulnerability granted by Koumei's 3 whenever those paper dolls roll a pair of 6's (or was it triple 6's? Does t matter!) is a BUG rather then knowing it's an intended feature among Koumei's many RNG affects, simply because DE never took the time to properly explain the full mechanics during the game show in japan.

Like I personally have no problem with DE make in my big announcements where they please to do so during any event they go to, that ain't the issue most folks are actually having here (the special snowflake's excluded obviously) it's the fact they did a half arsed rush job of something they hyped up to be super important in advance, and left alot of new and old players alike more confused than actually informed by the end of it.

Important announcements should never be rush jobs, MAKE THE TIME IT DO IT RIGHT. It's not a hard concept, they use to do this perfectly as a smaller team with less resources to go around despite having a heavy work load on key individuals plates rather then being able to evenly spread out the workload across multiple staff members like they can now, so there's really no reason they still can't put in an equal effort compared to the past, unless your going to argue that the boat is sinking while [DE]Steve and the old guard are working over on soulframe. Granted they seem like miracle works now in hindsight, but DE still has PLENTY of capable staff left working on warframe these days right?

If you know in advance your not going to have the time to properly share everything you want to tell us about an important new update (which really they should have know this much prior to getting there, and no one can say they had no idea that they were going g to be given only a tiny slot of time at so.eine Else's event, because when your a guest, of course your not going to be the star, and this have less stage time then you would like or need to have. It's just common sense.) then you should hold the biggest items for a separate day when you CAN make the time to tell us without halfheartedly rushing through to the end.

As a wise man once said "Keep it simple stupid."

But there where and when they explain things shouldn't matter, if its important enough for them to explain it and hype it up, than its important to do so the right way.

And know that I dont mean to sound like I'm harping on anyone in particular, I'm just stating the truth as most folks see it.

de likes delayed stuff like will we ever get to fight the 3rd orb mother in orb vallis? but when de does give us updates they are good

Exactly! And that's why when they did the fates update announcements at the game show seemed to feel rushed, (other than the fact that it was rushed so they could say what pl title tdd hey did before the update hit within a few days later, lmao) -Seriously; this community as a whole is amazing, and the vast majority of us have absolutely no problem with the waiting for announcements because when they finally DO get around to them, they (with except to the 5 fates update) always deliver above and beyond our hyped up expectations when they make the fully informative announcements they've best known for. - besides, they fill in enough time in between with random streams for the community to join in on the fun between the big announcements to hold everyone over without letting us feel anxious about the game's future progress (unlike other tripple A companies like bungie persay for example), so nobody is forcing [DE] to fo rush jobs. We actually ENJOY when things are done right around here. (Bugs aside, that's just part of the experience with anything digital, lol) and thus far, DE has been doing things the right way when they've taken their time to do so.

When can we expect a fix to the GI lighting, including overly dark maps, incorrect colors, and broken shaders on PC?

EDIT: Colors are fixed with the October 16th update. Lighting still has issues on some maps. Metalness shaders are still completely broken under GI lighting in the Necralisk and in the bottom part of the Orbiter.

Now aside from the replies I made already to other users in here, let me finally say something directly related to the original post:

Coda Caustacyst, Coda Pox, and Coda Cerata - I among many others are expecting to see these weapons come into the existence as being among the first wave of infested Coda weapons.  They've normal infested weapon counterparts all had great mechanics build into them when initially released, any many among us older tenno remember having alot of fun to using them early on in warframe, and some of us, maybe even most of us, were kinda saddened to see these unique weapons become so outclassed and weak by the time later story content began ramping up the excitement.

I mean the Caustacyst with its corrosive acid trails.launched from its heavy attack, the Pox and its ability to AoE status procs in a field around its impact zones, and the Cerata just being a very fun infested glaive to yeet around at targets from afar. I have good memories of using these weapons. ...And then the status update came and nerfed the way AoE damaged worked, killing the any viability the Pox still had for late game use as a primer, while the Cerata and the Caustacyst have long since been outshined by stronger and more effective melee weapons in general.

To further make my case here, so far no faction has itself a Kuva/Sister tiered Glaive weapon as of yet, making the concept for a Coda styled glaive weapon worth adding, even if it's not a improved Cerata persay.

While the Caustacyst itself and its unique features that made it a fun and unique and scythe among the existing scythe weapons in warframe has it's own merits for why a Coda Caustacyst should be created.

As for the Pox, a Coda Pox could have a new feature added to it other than just being a stat improvement- either by improving its AoE could with something unique to itself, such as perhaps a 100% chance to apply all of it's own elemental status procs on the projectile's impact before creating an AoE cloud that will add extra 2 stacks to all existing status procs already on targets the first time they enter the cloud AoE for non-Damage over time Procs, (corrosive, frozen, ect) while merely refreshing the timers for DoT Procs already applied to the targets that walk through those clouds.

While I understand alit of people reading this think that might be too broken, keep in mind it's Kuva Tier weapon that's based on a infested grenade that was well known for forcing constant proc'ing prior to the elemental status update.

Or it could just have a built in Condition Overload style buff and either a forced stun proc or blast proc that increases for every target within 5ms of its inital impact zone when the AoE cloud first deploys.

Just something reminiscent of the old Pox stun locking players enjoyed doing prior to the elemental/status rework would be nice for nestolgia sake, even if it isn't as effect as the way stunk g targets with blast procs was prior to the rework, it would be nice just to see the coda pox be equally as fun to use, besides, from what we've seen of the coda faction so far, it seems their very blast effect heavy foes, as their constantly blasting the speakers! Lol

On another coda infested related note, I predict that Coda infested are going to be resistant to heat and Blast damage, but weak to gas damage. While deimos infested will retain their blast damage weakness, for the sake if balancing and the way certain factions seem to resist damage their non-kuva tier are affected by but also have a weakness to a damage type their non-kuva tier factions are able to perform. Also Coda blasting the speakers for blast damage while not being able to resist it just doesn't make sense. Lol

But those are my opinions.

With Koumei, I was hoping that her Decree skill would have been her subsume, since that wasn't the case. Is there any consideration to add Decrees, even in a nerfed fashion to Warframe outside of Duviri?

Let's gooo more info on infested liches they are literally the coolest thing ever

Any chance we'll get to fight all of them at the same time? Feels like that would fit the infestation hivemind theme, plus we have such powerful gear now it won't be unfair

So if these characters are the liches does that mean that they don't function like your typical adversaries?

Its sounding like they're not randomly generated with unique appearances like Sisters and Kuva liches. Saying their 'respective' weapons makes it sound like they don't have upgraded weapon variants either.

Can we get a pass on melee stances soon? A lot of them need some love, even if in just a minor way. Animation tweaks, damage numbers.

The obvious one is the two-handed nikana stance, Wise Razor. But that isn't the only one that needs help.

Why does Cleaving Whirlwind still have that 0-damage stumble at the end of the forward combo? That feels so dated in 2024. Please just have someone take two minutes to cut it out of the stance.

So many melee weapons are held back by poor DPS numbers on the stances. Heavy Scythes like Hespar, the Ghoulsaw, etc. Surely someone can do a pass over the stances and just normalize the DPS numbers? The wiki has a good summary of DPS numbers for each stance if that helps. Some stances, or specific combos, are just way weaker than others for seemingly no reason.

I'm crossing my fingers for an actually good version of one of my favorite weapons in the game, but I have a feeling given how adamantly they've refused to lower the Mutagen grind for it, having an advanced version of the Hema in circulation doesn't seem like a safe bet. I can dream, can't I?
