So preventing people who missed the first two weekends from getting the blueprints and only the components is somehow fair? DE, you need to suck less, if you're going to drop components, drop the damn blueprint with it, otherwise just drop useful things. One without the other is useless and unfair.

I know your pain it wasn't on the news board for me either so hopefully they might add it on saturday or sunday for others to catch up

yeah the steam notice for the event was misleading as it list the blueprints as available drops during the third weekend, so now it seems I'm gonna have to wait and get those bps in some other way. the bps should have just been a guaranteed drop on weekend three like it was in one and two.

So, the News page was misleading when it stated that all components and blueprints were available, though random? Though it looks like it was recently edited.

You should make the main BPs drop from the last alert to make the weapon obtainable for people who who dont play this game like a job every day

This just didn't seem well communicated. I actually got my weapons built but I didn't think I had to encourage my friends to do the alerts until the third week since it was stated to be where you could get both weapons. To learn suddenly that that is not the case is a little annoying. For example even today's tweet states  "This is your last chance to earn the Tak & Lug AND the Tonkkatt..." and this is just too simplistic to be accurate.

DE I appreciate that you were trying to make the alerts easier on players by giving them an extra chance to pick up any components they had missed, but the inconsistent/imprecise communication has obviously led to a lot of players being confused.

People who didn't know the alerts existed until now: not happy

People who thought they were safe to "get around to it" during the third week: not happy

People who apparently read a temporarily incorrect update note: not happy

Reminder to everyone that you'll be able to farm for these later because they're going to be added to normal loot tables and it probably will be literally next month, so don't worry about missing out beyond the short term; but it's just a feel bad moment for people.

After you complete an Alert for the first time, you will receive an Inbox message containing Blueprint for whichever Weapon is currently up for grabs. Subsequent playthroughs of each Alert will then award random components based on which weekend you're playing!

Quote from the Warframe Website. They should have been more clear if they meant that the Blueprint is up for grabs on the first/second weekend not that the Blueprint is available for which ever parts drop. That is how I read it at least and I appear to not be alone with that.

Yes this is what made me get on and get started and with it not even appearing in the news feed in game made me like wait what something isn't right still trying to see if bp is a ridiculous drop rate just incase so far done week 3 32 times on the run so far but hey got all the parts quite a few times XD No blueprints yet though.

It's kinda insane how the steam post still says you can get the blueprints from the mission, which is what I personally check because opening up a social media or forum post to get information is asinine when I should have correct information posted to all available channels. I thought I was fine to just not play that weekend because I work them and wanted to relax.

The steam article looks to be incorrect, only the components drop this weekend based on what DE has posted.

From the opening post:

"Important Information

Each Tactical Alert will only be live for its respective weekend, meaning if you miss a weekend, you’ll be unable to acquire the main Weapon Blueprint rewards for that specific Alert until the event has concluded. Rest assured, players will be able to obtain these weapons via another source after Galleons of Ghouls ends! Lastly, the Volatile Ogris skin will be acquirable from Baro Ki’Teer sometime after the event.

In a near future Update, the Weapons Components and Blueprints will be found on Ghouls wandering on their own!

Ghoul Augur and Ghoul Rictus will drop the Tonkkatt Blueprint and Components.
Ghoul Devourer and Ghoul Expired will drop the Tak & Lug Blueprint and Components.
Additionally, Rivens for these weapons won’t be available until our Interim Cert Update deploys.

For now, let no Ghoul go unpunished, and no weapon unclaimed, Tenno."

Exceptionally poor planning on DE's part to have one of the weekends align with PAX East, when a large amount of players would be away from their computers for about a week, especially given that DE themselves were doing a live Devstream there, incentivizing more of their players to miss that weekend. That's to say nothing of people who were misinformed by Steam News, people who don't follow everything closely enough to have even been aware in the first place, or people who didn't have availability for a random weekend in May for other reasons.

I look forward to learning that I'll need to grind for a week later just to get the BP I missed due to being at PAX, instead of just being able to get it from this weekend's part of the Alert.

I've also just wasted a bunch of time with this nonsensical decision to remove the blueprints from the third weekend cos I missed weekend 2.

Thanks for punishing folks who can't mainline Warframe over a specific 48 hour period.

Howdy, Tenno,

To clarify: Our Steam write-up on Galleon of Ghouls had incorrect information about the distribution of the Galleon of Ghouls Weapon Blueprints, and it has been rectified with the correct information found here. We apologize for the mixup.

As stated in the main post:

“Each Tactical Alert will only be live for its respective weekend, meaning if you miss a weekend, you’ll be unable to acquire the main Weapon Blueprint rewards for that specific Alert until the event has concluded.”

However! The following Ghouls will have both the components and Blueprints readily available as drops when Yareli Prime releases on May 21st.

  • Ghoul Augur and Ghoul Rictus will drop the Tonkkatt Blueprint and Components.
  • Ghoul Devourer and Ghoul Expired will drop the Tak & Lug Blueprint and Components.

For a deeper look at the drop rate, our official Drop Table will have all the stats when Yareli Prime releases May 21st.

Why even have a week 3? All this does is leave a sour taste in the mouth of anyone who doesnt play this game like a job.
