Best Warframe?

Rhino because it is a tank along with having a powerful set of abilities. Iron skin is great, rhino stomp is from what I can tell is one of the best uber abilities, rhino charge is a good alternative when you don't have enough energy and roar is a good support ability

Nyx. Hands down.

:o DISAGREE. I actually think ember is very well balanced. I just got ember prime to 30, and she is decent. She's not op, but not terrible. IMO more useful than Nekros >.>

hm...

But Ember has no utility at all. None.

All her skills deal damage (one with an additional small damage reduce).

While I find Nekros unsatisfying to play as, he is extremely useful in some situations.

Nyx, always Nyx.

Use Chaos, and as the minions then do their circle jerk,  just wind-up with a galatine and swing for the fences. I also really like mind controlling the last enemy on a defence mission, and watch them as they just stand there, as we all shoot at them. Far too satisfying.

Have you used her world on fire ability since they buffed it? It's actually really good. And overheat now protects you even more. Doesn't make you invincible, but it's very hard to die while having overheat on.

Still it's a fixed damage skill, so it gets useless really fast in higher level content, so WoF is still pretty much useless.

And I thought they just changed the visual effect (to the worse imho).

I'm not saying she isn't fun to play on low to mid level missions (especially against infested), but she is pretty much worthless in high level content.

Loki.

He was my first warframe and I hated him. Now I played every other warframe to 30 and he is my favourite (ok, I'm not completely done yet, Banshee is at 20 something).

I grouped them into Tiers according to overall usefulness (imho and partially based on utility):

Tier 1: Nyx, Nova, Frost, Rhino

Tier 2: Valkyr; Nekros, Vauban, Banshee

Tier 3: Loki, Excalibur, Trinity, Mag

Tier 4: Saryn, Ember, Ash, Volt

The only frame I find absolutely worthless is Ember.

wait wait... is Tier 1 meaning most useful, or Tier 4... because I think volt should be up there in Tier 2 if Tier 1 is most useful, and Excalibur should definitely be Tier 1.

Favorite right now.... Probably a tie between ember for being fun and secretly (it seems you all dont realize shes actually a much knots Tahiti...... That was supposed to say "stronker tank" lol auto correct.... than rhino?) A beast and trinity for her now being realized to be the god frame that she is by the masses.

Trinity also gets my vote for best frame.

I really love all the frames except frost, banshee, ash, and loki with Loki being my least fav and working backwords.

Radial disarm is worth my respect but if you start throwing around "master race" because of invis then shade would like to ash you a few questions.

I loved playing as every new frame, even if I didn't think they were that useful. Each has it's purpose to someone.

Excal, because he's my first.

Rhino, because he's pretty tough, and I can count on him in high-level stuffs. I have a very tanky, charge around play-style, so he works well for me.

Volt, Speed and Overload are useful. Never really used Electric shield, but it can be useful for some play styles.

Ash, Bladestorm is wonderful, and allows you to stretch for a few moments. I'd prefer him to be a wee bit more durable, but he earns points for the head-crab and those cool arms.

Ember, just destroys everything in Infested survival. Or did, back when that was a thing.

Nova: Null Star and Antimatter Drop were useful to me. NS acts as her defense (at range) skill, and if you're sniping or just tunnel-visioned, can keep some turds off your back. I didn't throw 4 a whole lot, mostly because I only played her on Apollodorus. However, having a Nova on ODD (even when I'm using Ignis) can make things verrry simple.

Nyx: I'll spam Force Bolts every now and then, and Absorb has a Bladestorm quality to it, just kinda wait and stretch, hope your friends don't kill all the targets. I didn't get much use out of Mind Control, they died too quick with nooby teammates. Didn't use Chaos all that much, but it can be useful.

Frost: Good as a caster/tank hybrid, which is hard to get both qualities due to limited mod slots. 1 was iffy but occasionally useful, 4 was good, 3 was useful in a drop and step in an attempt to get to extraction without dying at highish survival times with weak mates. I didn't really use his 2. (This was Prime, so I had more points in mods, which may have made him a bit more powerful than non-prime Frost).

Nekros: Soul Punch was okay. I thought it could use more boom, as my guns are powerful enough to do what that does. Desecrate is good at keeping your team alive a bit longer. I didn't like 4, because I don't really trust bots to kill bots in any sort of aggressive manner. Can slow the enemies down, though. Don't remember firing Terror Totem (Or whatever they actually called it) off all that often.

Vauban: I love Vauban, sticky balls all over everyones' faces. Bounce is useful in an environmental pinch, Vortex is nice, immobilizes and damages, and Bastille's wonderful against bosses, especially that pesky Zanuka.

Mag: Has some quasi-tank properties, like high shields and Polarize. Pull is good, I think it's a lot more useful than Crush. Didn't really get much use out of Bullet Attractor, but that combined with Vauban's Bastille could be very boss killy.

Loki: I didn't like him all that much. Invisibility was good as a defensive skill (Can't be shot if you can't be seen!) and Decoy was nice, and Teleport was good. I came up with some downed-ally rescue schemes using those two (Decoy next to you, switch with downed, switch with Decoy, and now you're both safe, and the mob is Decoy'd). Radial Disarm was okay, but when I used him, I just wanted a damage skill. Frustrating when you're used to being able to damage en masse. I felt like Ash was an "Assault Loki", and I liked the invis and tele powers, mixed with some damage powers.

Trinity: Blessing's useful, Link is meh for me. The first two are decent, but seeing as how you need energy to cast Evamp, kinda silly on survival or def, where there's tons of ammo/energy around. Good for some, but not for me.

Saryn: Also a go-to frame for me. Tanky, poison damage, my mom thinks she looks like a lizard from the back... I don't use 1 all that often, never really saw what it was good for. 2's not really been used either, it's another decoy, not my thing. 3's good when you're not running Dual Ichor (Which I was at the time) and 4's a good ult. Reading up on 1 and 2 might change my opinions on them.

Valkyr is cooking, and I don't have Banshee's helmet, so I can't comment on either of those.

Bah there is the most versatile warframe! that is called Rhino, but there is no best, all of them do things very well. Nova does tons of damage, Nyx and vauban controll the battle field, Frost creates deployable cover, and heck even valk who is renounced underpowerd is at-least a great warframe to dive in hundreds of enemies to ressurect a dude.

valkyr tier 2? sounds legit

hm...

It's cause of the duration build: Go invincible and hack away. Quite useful for rezzing teammates, activating life support or just getting through sticky situations. You can mod her so she stays enraged for quite some time.

If it weren't for her ultimate, she'd drop to 3 and Trinity would get up to 2.

wait wait... is Tier 1 meaning most useful, or Tier 4... because I think volt should be up there in Tier 2 if Tier 1 is most useful, and Excalibur should definitely be Tier 1.

With Excalibur it comes down to the fact that he has only one true utility skill with radial blind, so it's Tier 1 (most useful) to Tier 4 (least useful). But remember that it's partially based on opinion and preference.

Nyx got chaos and mind control which can both be invaluable in most situations. Her bubble is useful in a few situations as well.

Nova is hands down just a murdermachine with some nice travel utility for the team.

Frost is a good tank against ranged enemies, the most useful teamtank.

Rhino is just the best allround frame.

I explained Valkyr up there.

Nekros is invaluable in high level content for desecrate and his army can come in handy too, but he is just a support character, so I don't find him satisfying to play.

Vauban has simply the best utility skills in the game. Not one of his skills is completely useless.

Banshee can push opponents away and increase team damage to ridiculous levels, especially in tandem with Nova, very useful in high level content.

Loki lacks a truly useful all purpose utility skill. His ultimate is only useful against Grineer and Corpus, so that's why I consider my favourite frame just Tier 3.

Mags pull can be quite useful, as can shield replenish, but that's situational.

Trinity can be a single-target dps monster and also has nice teambuffs, but they are rendered useless if the team is not coordinated well.

Saryn, Ember and Ash lack a skill that is useful for the team.

Volt is an Anti-Corpus beast and can increase runspeed and be a situational tank, but his overall usefulness is quite low.

I hope this explains my opinions a little better :)

Ash is my fave.

I don't know about all those haters out there but Ash is pretty awesome. I can pick and single out tough opponents with ease,

dissapeare then BAM heavy melee with crit! I can safely clear a room with my BS and a Shuriken to the head will definitely ruin

anyone's day. Honestly he does need to be buffed but he's pretty cool as is. Plus he's the most ninja of them all.

He's no nuker or tanker but he's a specialist. Ash solo run ftw. And no haters please. We all got our opinions

I think with Ash it's just that he has no team utility.

Direct damage skills like the Shuriken are useless in high level content.

His big upside compared to Loki (his closest companion) is his durability and the stagger when he enters invisibility.

I like him a lot, even though he is just at Tier 4 in my book.

Loki got the upper hand (for me) because of his ultimate, they both are melee death machines and great for soloing.
