I find that Frost's skill-tree is much more appropriate for my style of play, compared to my Rhino, which his Ultimate is nothing really fancy, since Iron Skin does better than it. I'm sure your Super Jump + Radial Blind Excalibur will be amazing.I assume the reason they're replacing Mods in Update 7 is because they're always the best choice when compared to the plain +HP, +Shield, +Power nodes.
