Weapon styles / animations.

Hey there guys, I just recently got into the closed BETA and I'm absolutely loving the aesthetics of the game. I'm very much liking the Samurai influence. My question, or perhaps suggestion, is creating varying styles of melee combat. The one suggestion that came to mind was perhaps a new Warframe or simply a paid unlock to use differing styles of sword techniques.

E.g. A Warframe that held it's Skana in a sheathe on it's waist (Like a traditional Samurai) and exclusively used quick-draw techniques, a.k.a "Iaido" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iaido.

This is just one example, but I feel it'd be very interesting in having more different Skana styles, as opposed to just creating more differing melee weapons. Not only would it provide variety for players, and player customisation...but also it'd make combat more dynamic and interesting in group play.

It could also potentially create more depth to combat too. Certain styles being aimed at using melee exclusively, where as a quick draw style would specialise in the quick transition of gunplay to melee.

P.S I'm aware of the Bo and Duel Skana, but this is exclusively referring to differing styles and animations.

Seems extremely complicated, I don't dislike the Idea. But If it does get implemented I'd prefer if it doesn't upset the balance of weapons like... Weapon A with style C is ultra useful against boss E because you can stun lock him. Then again I am being nit picky. I woulld most definately like to see varying styles and more weapons in general~ So +1

Oh also good to note the game is in Early beta so we can expect quite a few game changers and new things along the way of beta~

Your concern is certainly valid, and one I hadn't considered. If you were to take away the varying benefits and balancing aspect, and keep as as a purely aesthetic option I think it could work.

I'd certainly pay money to have my character stand out more. I can't quite put my finger on it, but melee just needs a touch more depth, as it's a signifcant part of the core gameplay. The benfits of online games is that systems can be reworked or improved months and years down the lin, so hopefully something is worked in.
