-Mira-
First off, the new downed enemy attack... doesn't work on downed enemies. I can knock them down with jump melee attack or mag's pull but when i try to melee over them i just keep swinging my sword around. Once they start getting back up, THEN I can sometimes get it to activate by meleeing, but it doesn't seem like that's how it's supposed to be. Next, when I'm trying to melee repeatedly, very often my character will start doing charged attacks when I'm not holding the button down at all. It might be framerate-related, given that it seems to happen more often at times when there are a lot of enemies onscreen reducing performance (such as when being swarmed by a horde of chargers, e.g. the worst possible time for melee spam to fail), but it has never been an issue before this update. Also, sometimes doing charged attacks, the character will do two quick swings in much more rapid succession than usual, more damaging than normal it seems but not as strong as the single charged swipe. This happens more often during the accidental charges that have been so frequent, and maybe it's supposed to be there as an alternate charge attack, but there doesn't seem to be any real way to control which charge you do unless I'm missing something. Finally, this might not be a bug, but now if you happen to press the melee button again at any time during a swing, it'll force you to do a second swing. Apparently I have a tendency to double-tap the button when i only mean to do one swing, so this change has been very annoying. Maybe it's intentional to try and deter button-mashing but.. it seems like mashing is most of what melee in this game is :V So bug or not I don't think it's a very good change, I'd say make it so the window for initiating another melee swing immediately only occurs toward the end of a swing, which is how im guessing it was before. LordofTibera
Yeah the melees going off whenever they feel like it is an ongoing bug right now. For me, I'm trying to figure out the parry function. I'm holding the buttong ahead of time to prepare, but nothing parries. The animation goes off, but I just take damage lol.
TheSmash
Good stuff here, but for your first problem, make sure you're aiming directly at the enemy when you melee. If that doesn't work, then it's probably a little bug.
Murasume
as far as I know bout the down attack~ is that I usualy aim at the enemy to do successful stab~ the rectical has to be on th enemy to do the stabby stabby~

Cheridan
Another issue I have with attacking downed enemies, is with my dark dagger. The animation stabs the downed enemy once, and then comboes into what's basically a normal attack, a quick slash at chest height. It of course doesn't hit the guy on the ground, so I'm wondering why they made it like that...
Qeveren
I've been getting a lot of no-sell in melee lately, anyone else noticing that?
-Mira-
Okay, not knowing to aim directly at the enemy is my bad (though given that melee isn't usually sensitive to up/down aim.. idunno, they could've made mention of how to do it somewhere vov), and I've pretty much learned to account for the double-tap melee thing as well, though it still might deserve some discussion on how people feel about it. I haven't seen the weird double-swing charge happen lately either, i don't think, but the accidental charges still happen a lot. I do think at this point that it's definitely fps-related, since when I'm solo in low-population areas and actually getting a decent framerate it doesn't seem to happen.
