[Solved] Changing Text Color On The Forum?

Question

So, exactly how do you do this? I keep seeing every now and then, and it make me sad that I'm not in the knows-how-to-type-in-fancy-colours club. XD

Exactly what do you have to type in to use those numbers? XD

You have to type

all your colored text goes here

By the way, those number/letters are Color Hex Codes*; you can Google them up pretty easily (not to mention most image editing programs can give you the Hex Codes for colors). Also, the Warframe forums support certain basic colors by just typing color=green (or blue or red or whatever).

*In case you're wondering, the Hex Codes are triplets of two-digit numbers representing the color's position in the RGB colorspace; #RRGGBB. The letters in the numbers (A through F) are due to the numbers being in Hexadecimal system (base 16). Since we don't have numerals for 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15, we use A, B, C, D, E, and F instead. Hexadecimal is used because, with two digits, you get the numbers 0 - 255 (instead of just 0 - 99 if it were decimal system). Also, Hexadecimal is easier to convert to binary than decimal.
