I think Corpus techs should be normal sized Corpus in an exoskeleton set of power armor. Currently the Corpus are for all intents and purposes, "Normal Human beings". so why are a few of them Giants? The answer to this of course is not a lore reason, but a gameplay one. They are significantly more powerful then the rest of the Corpus and need more visual "presence". And that's all fine and good however it feels like the giants in colored orange suits were just a placeholder (I hope)

"Tech" seams like a title for the more technologically proficient among the Corpus. I really think they should be normal sized Corpus inside of a big, shiny set of robotic armor. Keep the Supra, but maybe change them to robotic health type? more health then shields? (because seriously Tech shields are a joke) and he can rely on the shield osprey for significant shields.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are that, in reality, the Corpus crewmen and the like are all like the Madness Combat mooks, some of them being cannon fodder (even the helmets now that I think give them that weird look), some others being bigger sized and (theorically) more dangerous (although Techs are kinda useless now since they don't deploy Ospreys anymore).

...or, maybe that is just me being silly - my real thoughts are that you are probably right. I would suggest various types of Techs, each of them with different weapons and different tactics. Anyways, we need a bit more variety in Corpus models, that's what I think.

Why would you go through the trouble to create power armour when you already have a reliable source of actual robotics?

The Orokin say 'hi', and would like to know if you've heard of these devices called warframes?

In all seriousness, I'd imagine that the nonlinear quality of human thinking is difficult to replicate in proxies. The hyena pack sort of gets there, but they're combat-optimised animalistic intelligences.

I approve of this idea wholeheartedly. Tech always suggested a engineer of sorts to me, not A oversized Rambo with Plasma LMG. Also, the Exo suit from Elysium was pretty awesome, I agree. Not the direction the corpus should go, but I liked the design as well.

Confirmation from Mynki: They along with some of the other Corpus types will be revisited in a future update.

that means units like snipers, elite crewman, some ospreys, raptor are going to be revisited? It really bothers me that these elite corpus soldiers have default weak uniforms instead of combat equipment.

At least the way I saw it, the crewmen that we fight aren't "elite soldiers". With respect to the lore, the Corpus are rarely ever seen in public, sending robot proxies in their place. Therefore, I imagine if they ever had to wage battle, they would similarly use only machines to fight with.

The reason that we find so many crewmen in the game is because the Tenno invade Corpus ships. We're pretty much attacking them where they live (except on defense missions, but w/e).

That's the main reason I've always been ok with the Corpus models the way they are. It's nice to hear they'll be looked at again though.

Since they are also meant to be technician/engineers in the Corpus ranks, I might even go so far as to say that the Supra should be shoulder-mounted, leaving the arms to be a claw and a welder, or some other form of engie-related goodies. Could make them very effective in both ranged and melee combat, too.

You could even have a standard Tech unit, that is equipped with different weapons, depending on their non-war tasks. Just like the Grineer have Napalms and Bombards whose only difference is the weapon. Like Vintovka says

I would suggest various types of Techs, each of them with different weapons and different tactics.

So there might be one Tech with a shoulder-mounted Supra, while another has a Penta up there.

I always thought a Tech wearing something like a WAR Loader from Borderlands 2 would be sweet.

I even remember seeing human units like that in the wildlife exploitation center.

Also my idea for a female corpus boss

Looks like she could dance a pretty hot tango.

I want to see a tougher Tech, with more shield, and a variation could have a penta

Be honest, do you really want a Tech to have a  Penta shooting at you with tougher shields?

Good, no more CCC (color-coded Corpus).

Well i can survive 3 direct blasts from a Napalm, So i can survive a Penta Tech. All i want is just a Corpus equivalent to the Napalm, in terms of power and durability

I'll never understand you people who think the game isn't hard enough. If its too easy, stop using a overpowered weapon. Simple as that.

You're likely thinking of these guys:

The Hyperion Engineers. Personally, I think the idea of having a melee Corpus unit goes against lore, but if they were working on building or maintaining a base I could understand their inclusion. Just... anything other than the clown suits the Corpus currently have.

I always found it strange how Corpus Techs are just an overgrown corpus on steroids (same can be said for Grineer heavy units). It would be cool if Corpus Techs were normal sized Corpus in mechanical exoskeleton suits (think Ripley's suit from the end of Aliens). What do you guys think?

Why have old-like exo-skeleton suits, when you can harvest Warframes? That's the whole point of the Zanuka project: Harvest Waframes to create improved enemies.

I believe it's been dev confirmed that the Techs will have their designs overhauled in a future update. What they'll look like isn't certain, but most likely it'll be some kind of loader suit.
