polarity Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) Games are never entirely random, not unless the computer is using a proper entropy source for its random number generation instead of just using algorithms to fake it. It's far more likely that this game is using weighted loot tables, so there will be places and mob types that are better to farm than others. Try soloing full clears of Lares if you need to replace sold/fused abilities. In 5 runs there I've got 6/8, 3/5, 2/3, 1/3 and 1/3 mod drops being abilities, so it looks like at least on that map there's a slightly higher chance of them dropping. Also both of those 1/3s were 4th abilities, so you can be sure the whole range drops, even on such a low level map. [edit] add a 3/5 on Earth - Oro and 4/4 on an alert.
