Better Weapons.

Question

Game's been feeling pretty slow since update7. Takes forever to progress anywhere at all.

Anyone got any idea how to improve?

Any tips on keeping your arsenal improving at a steadier rate than repeatedly doing Vor over and over for Cronus prints to sell?

I have so many things I want to fuse, build and try out.

Sadly, with the amount of time I have and the credits required... forget it.

It has no relevance to anyone, but I wouldn't stick around for this endless grind with less progress than even the most menial and repetitive of rpg games at this rate.

However, I had some high hopes for Warframe, one of the 3 major pioneer games this season that I have found fascinating, so I'll stick around a bit more to see how it turns out before I write it off or invite people over.

----------------

So, enough with my whining. My first problem is that I haven't enough credits to properly fuse all my mods. Not even close.

I'm dealing incredibly sub-par damage to enemies who used to crumble under my 2-3 multishot Gorgon. sigh.

I don't have the time to waste credits on the wrong mods, so...

MAIN

Braton Vandal

Gorgon

Boltor

HEK

PISTOL

Akbolto

Lex

Kraken

MELEE

Heat Sword

Dark Dagger

Scindo

Fragor

Plasma Sword

Gram

Dual Zoren

Pick ONE of each category of weapons which YOU think is the most powerful/useful/efficient and suggest all 8 mods for it.

Not necessary to say what rank the mods should be fused to, though, it would help a lot.

All of these are potatoed and at rank30.

I know that we should switch stuff around for different enemies, so, go ahead and list multiple ones if it's not too much bother to you.

Edit : I have Nyx, Frost, Ember, Rhino(not made yet), Trinity, Prime, Volt, Mag, Ash. For the purpose of this topic, let's assume them all r30 and potatoed to their natural talents.

What warframe do you want to use/have, that makes a pretty big difference.

It doesn't matter to me. I have a frame for every situation.

Though, that pretty much constitutes to TANK, SURVIVOR, ANTIBOSS, CC and MELEE.

Still, good point. I'll add info on that up there.

Hek - Akbolto - Fang / Dual Zoren

Hek:

80% multishot

60% damage

30% fire damage

30% freeze damage

30% electrical damage

45% reload speed

30% Fire rate and 2 other junk mods

= 1 shots everything on every planet.

Akbolto

80% multishot

48% fire rate

30% crit damage

20% freeze damage

30% electrical damage

100% damage

32% reload speed

30% fire damage

Simular to Hek, just kills everything in 2-3 hits.

Got Boltor/Gorgon aswell, Akbolto is better then both

I'd just like clipsize for my Hek and it would be gold.

Rare 5 fusion cores sell for 1.2k, atm, and they're going to buff some resell prices soon, so I've heard. At this point in time, there's rarely a chance that I see to use a rare fusion core instead of selling it. Grinding for mods yo udon't want/need is much more effecient, less costly, and a gives you room to sell fusion cores.

what about fang? its mods? cause im using dual heat swords right now, but i so love the dual daggers look. i'm just afraid it wont meet my experience with dual heat swords :/

Dual Heat isn't the same as Zoren or Fang.

Dual Heat isn't even fast, and is more suited to charge attacks.

Zoren and Fang are unbelievable spammy and massive on constant attacks.

I used to be a dedicated Zoren user. Now that I have tasted the Fang.... HOOOOOOLY S*. I only added 30% fire rate and it turns into a handheld lawnmower.

Why Crit Dmg on Akbolto?

p.s. Shotgun clip size increase starts off at 10% with 5 fusion upgrades.

Which I assume totals to 60%, which is about 2 bullets for the HEK. 4 -> 6.

bolto, bronco, fragor here

bolto mainly for large maps, or to kill grineer heavies since it ignores armor

bronco for main combat, the ammo just wont run out and with the right mods it easily 1-4 hit kills everything depending on the level

fragor with freeze mods to get in close to groups of enemies, jumpstrike trips everyone around and freezes them, giving me 4-6 seconds before they get up again, which is a very long time

just a few info for people here :p id get Gram though since it looks cool

A tip for upgrading your mods

Duplicate mods fuse for pretty much dirt cheap and give great exp rate: 2 same level mods combine for a full level up

Fusion cores seem to be the most costly and least efficient upgrade route, I'm honestly not sure why this is, you would think a generic upgrade resource would have some benefit, but as far as I'm aware it seems to be better just to sell them unless you're really desperate to rank up a mod, at least for rare fusion cores it seems.

there's a system for how much exp/cost rate you get from fusin mods.

I probably don't have this quite right but it goes something like this

-Duplicate mods

-same type mods*

-same equip slot mod**

-fusion cores/mods are not matching type or equip slots

*mod type is the symbol in the corner

** ie: warframe, rifle, pistol, melee, etc...

So if you have a bunch of mods you know you will never use, you can work on combining them to upgrade the stuff you actually want. Also don't just throw stuff in blindly because I told you to, you probably want to actually look at the price and exp rates before you go throwing a ton of mods together as I'm not entirely sure on the accuracry of my upgrade list there and how much of a difference is in the tiers of efficiency.
