Great job. Now we can move the entire thread to off-topic.

Related to topic. I support capitalism.

Not related to -discussion-.

cap·i·tal·ist

/ˈkapətlist/

noun: capitalist; plural noun: capitalists

1. a wealthy person who uses money to invest in trade and industry for profit in accordance with the principles of capitalism.

Put simply, I support Darvo as a private merchant/trader/entrepreneur, following capitalism ideals.

You're the one who is going off-topic. :D

It's late for me. Goodnight.

Wanting to work for yourself is a bad thing?

Also, if your nation is made entirely of war-mongering psychos hell-bent on destroying everything for the sake of profit, it doesn't make you a bad guy to decide you no longer want to work for them. So I don't think Darvo is really all that bad for ditching the Corpus.

MURICA!

Also I guess its the Grineer who are hell-bent to destroy - Corpus will just exploit stuff, just as Darvo exploits our greedy hearts with cash-shop goods, so we dance like monkeys.

The most fun part - if Bek will pay us 2-3 Catalysts for that - we will bring him Darvo back in no time, and will even supply Bek with his own life-service Nyx who will be 24/7 mindcontrolling poor Darvo so he will do whatever Bek wants.

The only problem - that other Corpus are too afraid to ask us about such thing.

On his first missions we didint escort that biyach. We raided "his" ship and killed everything onboard including Stalker so he can take it back. Remind me again what makes him so special so other Corpus have to die because he bribed psychotic space-ninjas with Caralyst BP?

Because he thought to bribe the psychotic space-ninja rather than trying to send proxies to shoot us? Amongst the corpus I know so far that puts him miles ahead in the popularity contest. Darvo doesn't mind that some people who took over his ship, or imprisoned him die, I can't say I blame him. I mean my loyalty to my countrymen wouldn't hold up to that kind of treatment either.

Seriously, much of the confersation between him and his father was designed to endeer him to the players. That's either the writers making him genuinely admire the Tenno or setting us up for betrayal. When everything a character says is designed by someone else (as it has to be) its impossible to know his motivations. You don't trust him, I see no reason not to yet.

There is something to be said about Darvo though, he does what he wants to get what we want out of things and this will likely not change.  In a game where the motivations of almost everyone is unclear or unknown, it's nice to know there is someone out there we know information about.

So, when given a choice, I rather work for Darvo since I know he's only looking for his interests and not some other huge crazy thing like taking over the universe or something.

Darvo is really a scumbag.  The only reason people are even supporting him is because he is pretty much one of the only non-tenno figures of note who isn't trying to murder us.

Don't be too surprised if he turns to stab us in the back.

He is pretty much the space version of this guy.
