Vahnkiljoy
Snagged a key with a friend from mmobomb, loving the game and the artstyle, reminds me of a psp game that had this same kind of techno-organic looking armor that looks all kinds of alien, was also curious about how the real money to ingame real money ratio was, gotta say, I don't think I'll ever spend anything on this if it stays at levels like that, I thought the gold to money ratio was bad on World of Tanks but man this seems to take the cake imo. I'm sure these are just 'wait and see' numbers, well I HOPE they are and might change later on but for now, I'll forget that the game has a real money currency option. Mezecs
It is quite rediculous, $10-$20 for a gun? No thanks. Edited January 6, 2013 by Mezecs
Ingway
It's still pretty early alot of things could change, but most of the time cash shop prices don't change much... I am hoping they don't make the "pro" system platinum only tough, making you pay to have more power with a certain weapon type is a pretty bad idea since it's basically pay 2 win mechanic, but in the future they may allow for credits to be used to open more slots, who knows. Give then feedback and if they notice a certain thing semms to bother alot of people they will look into it and see if it needs or if they can change it. GenericBadGuy
The only way to see the ratio as acceptable now is if you were looking at it from a founding perspective - like a sort of Kickstarter. That was part of my justification for even using the Founder's program. That being said I agree the numbers need a good amount of adjusting before release time. I think that any F2P game needs to have the ability to do <$5 impulse buys. Which is pretty hard in Warframe because nothing costs less than $5 that isn't a consumable. 1 Real Dollar should be like 25 platinum (a nice even number) instead of 15, for a net 67% increase in buying power. Mortarion
I'm sure they will change the prices eventually. Not like it matters to me though I'm set for life <-------------- XD Not that I want to boast about it. neKroMancer
Consider that 60USD retail price on ME3 got me a free ride in multiplayer mode for almost 10 months - All platinum-only item shouldn't cost more than 50-80 USD overall. And all essential stuffs shouldn't be cost more than 30-40 USD. Speaking from consumer persprctive since I'm suck at math.
Mortarion
Update 6: All Grand Masters will pay 200% "Grand Mastery Tax" on items. :-P Oh noes, the 1% are being taxed. (Of which I am not, I just have or rather had a minimum wage job) If only that could happen in real life =p
