Question

Hello guys can anyone tell me the best build for IGNIS? I have potato'ed my IGNIS into 5 V Polarity and 3 - Polarity with  current mod Serration,Heavy Calibur,Split Chamber,Speed Trigger,Hellfire,Firestorm & Rifle Ammo Mutation! But I cannot easily kill LVL 20 Toxic Ancient. LOL So any suggestion/Idea for perfect kill on Infested?

What I have

EDIT: adjusting for your forma, and realizing you want infested:

Another infested build, but with the mods you listed:

Wait... how can you not kill level 20 toxic? I can easily do that without putting a 8 forma on mine. Do you know about leveling up mods?

BTW, it's a potato when you double the mod points available, it's a forma when you give a modslot a polarity (it's two different items)

Also, fire for infested isn't necessarily the best combination thanks to damage 2.0. Infested now have 4 different types of "armor" if you will, fossilized, sinew, flesh, and infested. Depending on what you want to kill faster, you mod to maximize damage to that type of "armor". Most go for corrosive, as that's what toxic and disrupter ancients have.

Switch the tab at the top of the table to infested. PM or respond if you have more questions.

Contrary to what you might expect, ancients dont take extra damage from fire. They take extra damage from corrosive (except for healers, which are radiation/cold/puncture.

i notice you only listed 7 mods. Throw in a poison damage mod and you should be fine.

Uhhh forget what I said earlier, corrosive is electric +toxin.

Drop a mod for Stormbringer, throw in infected clip, and then finally finish with hellfire (make sure they are arranged in that order from left to right, otherwise you might get gas+electric)

Light infested (chargers, leapers, those explody ones) die easily enough still, and the added corrosive damage makes quick work of ancients EXCEPT for healers. I recommend bringing an anti-grineer side arm to deal with high level healers, lower level ones are still easily dispatched.
