DangerDaddy Posted February 25, 2014 Share Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) Alright, down to business as to why I'm making this, there's been a plethora of "I want the clan/dojo to have this!" I'll admit, I have made a post about it myself. It's not REALLY an issue, but i you look at the references I've collected, it kind of is. Rumble Room ((PS4)Mysterion666) It's not uncommon for players to fight bosses and be confused as to what to do Lech Krill is a perfect example of this. To mitigate the "what do" factor, when enough can members have codex scanned an enemy or a boss, a player can enter the room solo, set the "enemy/enemy list" and then kneel on a pad, similar to dueling room. When kneeling, the player will receive a pop-up to start, or wait for additional player(s). Function list- (Build Rumble Room) (codex scan enemies) (donate codex scans/collect codex scans of enemies) (activate panel to create enemy team) (fight) Factory/Cloning facility/Forge (HolyAdos) Basically the Extractor, but located in the Dojo. The clan puts in a single type of resource (i.e. Morphics) and based on the amount, after an amount of time it'll spit out additional Morphics, putting them inside the Clan Vault. there would be a random ratio between the input and output (such as 2 out per 10 in). There would be a research portion where you could research what types of resources could be built, the maximum resources input, and a higher input:output ratio. Function list- (Build the Factory) (research common resources) (research uncommon resources) (research rare resources) (Input 10 Morphics) (after 6-12-24 hours 2 additional morphics). Map Room (ShadowMercer) Basically a large mini map across the floor of the spawning room of the dojo, it'd be a cross section, showing each floor, with each room having an access point, allowing for the player to spawn into the room. This could save a large amount of time for people going to their lab rooms on the third floor, when they spawn on the first. This would be the new "spawn room" to give the players much easier accessibility to their clan dojo. Function list- (build Map room) (research map) (activate teleport beacon to move to room) Shooting Range/Armory (rexkiller4) The firing range has 3 room designs: the"dome", which acts like the target-chasing mastery test, a stereotypical firing range, with red firing circles popping up, and the"target dummy" room with a outline of a Lancer. The players can mark themselves in a variety of ways, such as timed, bullets fired, hits/misses, average enemy distance. Function list- (build Shooting Range) (Research the type of shooting range if is -dome, range, dummy-) (activate shooting range and hit the targets in allotted time) Armory (crazyman1864) A room with access to all the weapons/frames in the game, to allow the player to "test" before they purchase them. Function list- (build Armory) (access panel inside to change frame/primary/secondary/melee/sentinel and the mods in the weapon) Resource Bank (Wrath607) Dojo room that'll allow players to donate materials to the clan, without having to put it into a specific research. Useful for larger clans to ensure when new content comes out, the clan can simply have the clan leader/privileged members donate the Resource Bank's resources instead of waiting for players that only play once a week to donate. Function list- (build Resource Bank) (research increased capacity) (store resources) (privileged members may withdraw resources with permission) (privileged members may use banked resources for clan research) Tenno Clothing (ShiningArmor) Researched in the Tenno Lab, the Tenno clothing would either fit snugly to the frame, replacing the Scarf, or replace the skin, and be a new skin for the frame. the clothing could change per frame, and would have to be researched for each individual frame) Function list- (access Tenno Lab) (research [frame name] clothing] (purchase blueprint of clothing) Trophy Room (Quatrez) Make the in-game achievements more meaningful with the trophy room. Over all a large room, it has stands/statues/ displays/paintings/etc linked to either achievements, and at the end there's a board for the most killed of each faction, with the leader/runner up, which would change every week, help give the players incentive to play more often for bragging rights. Each trophy has a small plaque listing the achievement name, what it's for, when it was achieved, and who finished it. Function list- (build Trophy Room) (buy expansion) (read plaque under each trophy for more info on each trophy) Elevator Changes (MagiTwister) Elevators right now have 1 action, up or down. Simple and easy. Not much addition, except adding in a second elevator to the room to make it better for larger groups to travel across the Dojo. A second option is stairs. A third option is "wall-to-wall climbing", making use of the parkour element of the game. Function list- (Build Elevator) (create second elevator) (privileged members may alter the second elevator) (alternative elevators options are only available after 1 elevator has been built) Black Market (TerraNovaX) A dojo tileset that'll give an auction house to the players of the clan. Option to put up mods/prime parts/weapon parts/etc for platinum. A very small tax on platinum (mag prime BP sold for 10 platinum will be bought for 12) is an option. Function list- (build Black Market) (access market to buy/sell parts and mods) Clan Shop (Quatrez) Basically a Clan Lab, but instead of purchasing blueprints and researching items, items are bought directly. This could be used to buy aesthetic clan-related items, such as a Clan scarf, colours, etc. Function list- (build Clan Shop) (buy/unlock items) (buy items, not blueprints, from store for use) Donation Log (MagiTwister) When ever a player donates resources to a blueprint, to help build a room (or, if implemented, to the Resource Bank) then the amount of resources, what it was donated to, and the name is added to the top of the list players that have donated. As well, each player has a "donated" tab on their player card. This is used to show who's helping the clan, and who isn't, as well as being useful for helping the clan grow faster (who doesn't want to top the scoreboard?). This could be located in the dojo Great/Greatest hall between pillars. Function list- (build Donation Log) (place donation log somewhere in the dojo) Starboard moved to dojo (Kaian-a-coel) instead sitting around a magical floating galaxy, upon logging in, one would spawn in the dojo in the Starboard tile. From here you can access a tile representing each planet (i.e. venus) and then go from there to each point. An overhead board would list the current alerts. In Clan Tax (MagiTwister) If the clan leader, or privileged member wishes, they can add a slight "tax" to blueprints or things bought from the dojo. These taxes could be credits, or resources, which would to to help the build grow. I can't think of how to create the Function list for this, as I don't know how to current Clan Tax works. Private Rooms (Okamibanshu88) An elevator attached to the main dojo that will go to a private room (which must be bought individually) which can be decorated for the players, and may hold all the weapons/frames/sentinels the player owns. Function list- (build Private Room) (enter "elevator" and travel to room) (buy/place decorations) (buy extension) (buy Frame decorations) (buy Weapon decorations) (buy Sentinel decorations) (buy Faction decorations) Clan Scarf Alternative (Xephial) Typically Tenno have scarves, but what about Sashimono? Sashimono are the flags that are held on the back of the soldier. These could be implemented in the Clan Tenno lab. Function list- (access Tenno Lab) (research Sashimono) (buy Sashimono blueprint) (build Sashimono in foundry) Dojo Event Screen (MagiTwister) A large panel, similar to that shown in the Solar relay during the Dev stream, located in the dojo showing clan events/donation log/etc. It would be useful to make the clan feel like more of a community. Function list- (Enter Hall) (Privileged members may create the Event Screen decoration in Hall) In-Dojo Arsenal (Kaian-a-coel) A tile that has an access panel which'll allow the player to change their weapons, frame, and sentinel without leaving the dojo at all. this'd be a fun way to show off your equipment to the clan or friends inside the dojo. This would effectively help with obstacle course (enter with a rhino, then retry with zephyr and save a couple of minutes) as well as dojo dueling. Function list- (build Arsenal) (research weapon changes) (research frame changes) (research sentinel changes) (research colour/mod changes) Clan Lab Additions (Multiple Contributors) Tenno lab- Scarf with Clan Symbol. Sashimono. Katana. Pump action shotgun. Silver and White colour pack.Energy lab- "lightsaber" melee weapon. primary/larger Detron. Long engergy chainsaw secondary, Blue and Silver colour pack. Chemical lab- land mine secondary (acts like penta, limit of mines). Brown and Gray colour pack.Biological lab- Organic "Supra/Gorgon" machine gun (faster than supra, slight drop on rounds). Melee weapon with "mouths" (viral/slash). Purple and Green colour pack. Rank Restricted rooms (ShiningArmor) To give ranks in the clan more importance, a set of "rank restricted" optional rooms which can be decorative, or otherwise. The option to lock a room would be held by the guild leader, and they can set the rank lock on the room. Function list- (access room) (access control panel located in room) (set rank restriction) Clan Vaults Clan Vault Suggestions (Multiple Contributors) An actual tile in the dojo instead of what it currently is. If there was a Resource Bank tile it'd be replaced with the Clan Vault tile. The Clan Vault has multiple purposes, store resources and credits for clan research/building, store unranked mods for the rest of the clan to use, and store weapon/frame/prime parts. The reasoning behind unranked mods is that it forces the players to still do some work, instead of accessing the dojo and taking the best. Function list- (Build Clan Vault) (research additional space) (research weapon/frame/prime parts space)) (research mod space) Clan Vault Limits ((PS4)bmulligan) The Clan Vault would not be an unlimited void that the current mod space is for individual players, instead there would be a limit to the amount of each mod (i.e. 5 of each mod) and of each part (i.e. 2 of each part). Moderation of Clan Vault (MagiTwister) The Vault would be moderated by those privileged to do so, no single player can take resources except the clan leader (i.e. player 1 requests 2 morphics, he can't unless player 2 accepts his request). A second option, or addition to the first part is to add a withdrawal limit, stopping 1 player from stealing all the resources and then going to a different clan. The clan leader and privileged members will receive a notification of each withdrawal (and who said yes). Clan Alerts (Multiple Contributors) Events that are clan related, instead of simply being able to run the match, it has to be done with a squad full of clanmates, and has to be run multiple times to give the entire clan a reward. For example: Darvo needs help with Oxium, so he sends the Lotus a request, she shoots it over to [clan name] with a reward that's pretty nice (such as 15 orokin cells) that every clan member would receive when the mission is completed in its entirety. These runs would list in normal alerts, but with more difficult enemies, and can only be run with clan allies, and with the same scoreboard as invasion. Clan wide, with each member able to contribute. (100 "runs" each clan member that does a run earns 1 point, 4 members in 1 group means 4 points) Clan Decorations/Decorative Rooms (Multiple Contributors)there isn't 1 large single decoration that has been suggested, but instead a ton of small additions. - Frame/Enemy/Event Statutes (PS4)Nordulven the clan can build a small, single statute displaying a frame, enemy, a medium sized statue depicting a single, or multiple frames or enemies, or a large statue canvasing an event memorial. Option to add a plaque at the foot the of small/medium statues with a description, and having a large plaque on the wall for the event memorials. The small/medium statues are Decorations, whereas the Event Memorial may be a small room acting as a passage (either 4 door square, or as a "hall" with the memorial on either side) - Wall Banner (PS4)Nordulven A small, medium, large, or set of banners set along the walls or pillars of the clan halls and rooms. These statues can depict the Lotus, Clan Emblem, a Faction symbol, or any symbol DE wishes. -Hanger (Szefir) A massive room (think Obstacle Course) that holds the escape-ships used at the end of missions. At the far wall is an exit into space. Along the walls is scaffolding, allowing the player to reach a floor above, or below. Hanger must fit into the dojo map on multiple levels. -Observatory (Szefir) A large Dome that has a clear view of space, on the roof and along the floor is the map we see when we spawn into the game. This would fit the game very well as it could explain where the player is kneeling when they log in to the game. -Gymnasium (Xicio) A large obstacle course that isn't timed and allows multiple people into the room. Wall running, wall-to-wall climbing, and corridors filled with obstacles could be used to make the player more comfortable with the parkour system currently in the game. The could be several different versions of this room, allowing for different styles of parkour training (i.e. vertical training, jumps/ledges, etc) -Faction Decorations (MagiTwister) A faction based decoration, i.e. infested tree that moves slightly, Orokin model of a tower, Corpus helmet on display, etc. These small decorations could be fun and spice up the dojo's looks a fair bit. -Command Room (MagiTwister) Small over all, the room is mainly a door, a small chair, and a ton of screens in a semicircle, These could show screenshots from the game, or show be a picture of some frames that Clan Members currently have equipped. But Tenno clothing should be on the most important of the not important list.
