Edit: Just looked at the circle things in here. I can just make out a 21 on the first one, got no idea at all for the second.

you are clearly color blind, but i suggest you to take an appointment with some specialist to know it for sure

Try to find one of the circle tests that people see different numbers for if they are colourblind or not. I always thought they were better, they are certainly more interesting. ^_^

these test are that kind of test, both of em

yeah, great responses. very arrogant, such annyoing, much unhelpful, wow.

Not trying to be a $&*^, but everything I said was true.

What's also true is that Warframe has no support for people with red-green colorblindless, and that sucks, and should be changed.

Not sure how else I'm supposed to "help" besides telling you you're probably colorblind. People already posted colorblindness test templates so I don't need to that, only thing left to do is tell you you may be colorblind and Warframe should have support for colorblindness.

i know right, i was just answering to this other guy, i'm still waiting for the OP answer as well xD

indeed, nobody here said that if you are colorblind you don't need to get helped or listened, but i wanted to be sure that those people where in fact colorblind before writing a PM to rebecca or somone from the staff to ask them if they were aware of the situation.

also, try to remeber that DE is an indie and they probably don't have suitable staff to solve the situation

First is 74, second is a 6. x: Not sure if it's possible for color blindness to get worse though. Or how it affects people.

Sorry.

I knew I wouldn't get the numbers right, like I said, I know I am colourblind. My uncle is colourblind, so was my granddad.

I didn't find out till I was 13, but I think my specific colour blindness is pretty mild. It hasn't caused me many problems so far.

Also, fun fact, in some situations, a person with colour blindness can see something a normal visioned person can not. I believe colourblind snipers were used pretty frequently in one of the world wars. It also makes for some interesting stuff in games, you know the map array on black ops, you can not hide from me at all on that map.

here I am, darling

how does that help us?

I find it amusing that people are making a fight of something that was supposed to be constructive feedback. only one or two guys got what I said, the rest is rather trying to prove something that not really pays respect to this topic.

The fact (or lie?) that you don't know if you're colorblind and the fact that doors have red-green color indicators lead to this thread going down this road.

If you instead made a thread saying "@DE I have red-green colorblindness, could you please add support for people like me by adding a colorblind feature that uses something such as symbols instead of colors to indicate whether doors are locked or not?" this would have gone much smoother.

By the way, any optician should be able to help you find out if you have some form of colour blindness. I also image talking to a GP/Doctor would be a good idea as I'm not sure which tests an optician would have readily available, I know they have a large number of the dot tests for red - green colour blindness, but I am not sure about other tests for other forms.

it helps YOU because it is a list of visual tests for various types of color blindness. all of the pictures have either a number or shape designed in them with color.

oh, so you are falsely alluding to your own color-blindness in an attempt to get talks going about how doors suck? or are you really not aware of the likely more pressing issue than doors of your actual color-blindness?

edit: if i didn't know any better i'd think you were in the stage of denial

he asnwered in a very rude way, but it's more or less why we have been derailing the topic to something related to colorblindness

the red-green colorblindness is the most common, but a specialist has a lot of test for each color blindness, for sure

wow, again you are being a $&*^. I already don't like you personally because you are also getting personal :C

your first post in this thread already showed that you don't get anything.

and you implied I was colourblind. get off, please.

Perhaps some kind of banner or flag, to show if a door is open.

You are my man :D at least a good suggestion!

It sucks if your eyes are nerfed. But do some research, maybe they can be buffed.

Pretty much nothing you can do about proper genetic colour blindness, you can become temporarily colourblind apparantly, but mine (and TRSS' s if he has it ) are here to stay.

Perhaps some kind of banner or flag, to show if a door is open.

Also, I agree, a symbol is probably the best way to show this.

so, denial it is. if you cannot make out a number from the circle of circles regar posted before, then you are most likely red-green color blind (as theyve been calling it) go see your doctor about colorblindness.

as for doors and colorblindness, there should be a color changing option in the visual settings that changes these things, yes. however, doors as they are are fine and have a well enough system of indicating locked/unlockedness. assuming youre not red-green colorblind anyway.

i'm pretty sure that they can add some option in the the video options to activate if your colorblind, something that if activated changes the actual door/doorlights texture with something more viable for color-blind people.

but here and again, the OP doesn't seem to have realized the problem yet, i'm still waiting his answer about the 2nd image

I'm not attempting to insult you by getting personal.

It is a fact that doors within warframe have red and green colors.

If you can't see the difference between them then you are either lying, in denial, or you have colorblindness/should see an eye doctor. This is a fact.

And you are implying that colour blindness is 100% bad. Honestly, that actually offended me. Given the chance to fix my colour blindness, I wouldn't take it.

For most people colour blindness isn't a disability as much as it is a difference.

did I miss something?

you missed this

interesting, what about this?

ishihara_6.jpg

also. you are taking our speculations too roughly, we aren't saying that you are worse then us because you are colorblind, we are trying to help you out with this situation

look at PenutReaper, he knows about his colorblindness and he has accepted it, and most important, he found out that's not only an handicap, it's just has a different perception of colors and in some situation and with a trained eye he can takes advantage of his situation, that's what we are all aiming to

In a different thread of mine, I talked about the gaussian curve.

the major part of the audience is neutral, a small part is supportive, another small part is destructive.

if you belong to a different part of the gaussian distribution than me, I can deal with it. but the way you present your opinion as fact is way to $&*&*#(%& for me.

to piggyback on this, i just want to help. and if you've gotten this far without finding out then you've probably missed out on a lot of help you deserved/could have used.
