I am also having an issue with the latest update.   I was playing fine when the update was being released.  I logged out to download the update and it hung there at "Downloading Updates".   I decided to leave it going just in case and left for a few hours.   When I got back it was still the same.

- I rebooted my computer / power cycled my modem.

- I flushed my DNS

- I checked firewall permissions, and even disabled it temporarily.

Whenever it starts it will show "Downloading Updates ...........   0.0 / 7 MB ~ 12 KB/s)  and then just quickly stalls and I'm left with 0.0 / 7MB and no further indication of download speed.

*edit*:  I also posted a message in the pinned "Update Failures" thread which would seem to be a better place to discuss this current launcher/update issue.

I have found the Issue, your the AntiVirus Software is BLocking or Sandboxing the Program.. you need to add the Warframe Lancher exe to the exclusions of "auto-Sandboxing" i use Comodo.

For Comodo go to Comodo's Advanced settings menu, select the

"Defence+" tab on the left

choose:

"Behavior Blocker"

then on the right there is a Blue link that says "Exclusions" after "Define exclusions for behavior blocking"  Click it.

right click in the empty white box and choose "Add" > "File" then find your Warframe file, mine is x64 and is in the file path for Win8.1 NON steam is:

c:\Users\USER\AppData\\Local\Warframe\Downloaded\public\Warframe.x64.exe

And the for steam it's Folder instead of file and you put the whole steam file

Good Luck everybody. Hope its help :)
