Question About "leaders"

I'm not sure if what I'm seeing can be attributed to the buffed enemy leaders or not. I'm on ps4 so we're just seeing some of this newer stuff. I looked at the wiki and it didn't answer my question.

Basically at times during the game my warframe will have large rings around my feet and torso. Usually they are blue, but I've seen yellow too.

Inb4 it's a trinity's buff...

It's not a trinity buff. I've seen them whilst soloing, and also with teammates, all of whom are not running with the lobster princess.

What are these strange new colored rings floating on my warframe?

It could be the sign that a Energy/Life Leader is around, sapping your Energy/Health.

Leader auras. Blue rings are slowing you down, that's for sure. I don't know what the other ones are doing, though.

Maybe the fire one makes you debuff agains fire? Like accelerant.

I think most are damage resistance auras for surrounding enemies of that leader's type, however, the blue rings can be used as a Mag Leader detection system, because the rings will hit you before you step into that energy sapping radius, so if you see blue rings, stop, and try going another way.
