FateStCloud
Ok, that issue is caused when you upgrade a weapon or warframe with a reactor and do not take off the mods first from what I can tell. In otherwords, if ya want to avoid it, either upgrade your gear when it is still unranked, or remove all mods, save that setup, then go back in and put the upgrade on it. Here is my theory how it works: The reactors more or less doubles the amount of slots on an item, however, rather than just putting it on and having it work it recalculates how many slots there are; in other words when you put the reactor on it resets the number of slots to 0, then recalculates how many mods you have on. Because of this any mods you have on are read as not supposed to be put on and thusly the game freaks out as it thinks your mods cannot be there and will not move past the error until it is dealt with. As for a fix, well the easiest way to fix it would be for them to put in a function that lets you remove all mods off an item without actually accessing the item. IE: a button in the inventory screen.
