Then perhaps we can have a new Grineer unit designed to work along with the broken light / evil door traps?

 

Something like a kind of spider-drone with the blobby grineer-mech aesthetic that skitters along ceilings, and repairs damaged parts of the Galleons. They would seek out busted lights and repair them, but also fix disabled door traps and make them dangerous again. They would be mainly neutral - they're most focused on their primary function of repairs, but could lash out at anything that agitates them.

Until the epilepsy issue is solved, I have to say no to this.

I'm not in any way saying I think the traps, in any form, should stay (because I don't). Just if they refuse to remove them, this is an concept/idea that integrates with them.
