Darn Knockdown

Don't get too excited,it's an improvement but it's a slight improvement only,you waste almost as much time in the resisting knockdown animation as you do getting knocked on your butt.

 

It's also a little funny sometimes i guess,i had a night where i was getting bounced between a group of those shield guys and the napalmer grineers,had a hell of a time getting out of that one.

Hardly.  You spend at least 4x as long being knocked over, sliding to a stop, then flipping yourself back upright.  Instead, you do a quick block, reduce the damage taken from the attack, and can immediately counter-attack.

 

I've got my Nekros set up with Fortitude and Sure Footed together, and he's near impossible to knock over.  Whenever something tries to knock me down, I just shoot them in the face before they even finish their own knockdown animation.

I think all the knockdowns make me want to stay away from hacking and slashing. I understand not to go near Ancients and Heavy Grineers but lately it is becoming impossible to not get knocked down if you are that type to go head on. So I am pretty much stuck using Glaive or that boomerang weapon.

Or shock absorber

 

This or play as rhino

or

Shoot enemies that you know will do some type of CC on you on sight.

My personal killing list is Scorpions, Guys with shields, and anything else with a ability to knock me down or drag me across the floor OR teleport me and then the toughest enemy nearby.

Well when my frames get hit with a knockdown,my frame goes sliding backwards and it's a while before i can do anything(when i resist the knockdown)
