Online Lag

my specs are:

GPU: GeForce GT 750M

CPU: Intel® Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.4 GHz

8gb Ram

Windows 8.1, 64-bit

 

My download speed varies, peaking around 60 mb/s.

I can't see a reason to have this extreme lag - players, enemies walk and go nowhere, my shots never connect... it seems like a latency problem, not due to my computer. I set the ping matchmaking-thing to nothing over a 100, same thing. Anyone else have problems or is it just me?

Edit: I always have a pretty consistent 60 fps.

Probably a connection problem. The hosting player probably has bad upload bandwidth or is downloading a lot of stuff. Ping does not affect this, it is a separate thing.

Yea.. I've played a solid number of games, and rarely one other person and I can play as usual. More than that always causes lag. When I'm hosting, people constantly join/leave so I'm thinking it's me... but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Running only warframe, not even itunes.. no luck

pretty sure it's warframe...their net code is messed up and the whole game needs to be optimized
