Marshall
Would you consider the Aklex as a good weapon in general? Whenever I take this weapon to Void missions, it feels very weak in comparison to other comparable dual secondaries like the Akmagnus. How come it gets good feedback on the forums though? People call it a master weapon, want a prime version, etc. Am I missing an important advantage of the Aklex in terms of gameplay? I have this weapon in my inventory but I don't play with it at all. Do you think I might regret selling this weapon?
Neurohen
I love the AkLex with a maxed out recoil reduction mod (Steady Hands). Reduces 60% of the recoil. I slap that on first. Maybe reload speed mods. And of ciurse crit and damage builds make the AkLex shine just about anywhere. I honestly think they're nice, they're pretty much mid-range secondaries, which in my opinion are the best, but it really depends on your play style. To answer your question, I personally would regret selling them. I mean, if modded correctly, they can wreck pretty much any corrupted enemy if you land the shots. Not to mention they're a good overall secondary, against both the corpus and the grineer. Edited March 13, 2014 by IceViper777
Wallace24
I think I sold mine to make some extra room, save me some slots. unlike other dual secondaries, you don't have to craft 2 lexes to make it, you can just buy them. so it's fairly easy to get back. but they appear strong on paper, at least. I prefer the akmagnus for the status/crit chances, but aklex ahve higher base damage compared to akmagnus and akvastos unless you've potatoed and/or forma'd your aklex, I don't think you'll have any regrets selling it. again, because it's so easy to remake. the only weapons I don't sell even if I don't use them are primes, exclusives, and most of the recent clan stuff (made and sold stuff like torid back when it came out and I had limited weapon slots). if you aren't using the aklex, don't keep it around just because some people like it

Personally I really like the base damage, I can mod for the crits if I want to. They served me well, and that's why I think they're some decent secondaries. It's up to you to decide if they fit your play style. The Lex helped me a lot when I had my Sobek, and when AkLex came out it helped me even more. Nonetheless I think they're fun to use :)
ArcLightCRO
Corrosive + puncture on that baby with a crit build it rocks. Just needs a few forma yeah
Darzk
Headshots. All about the headshots. And +crit mods, until they fix headshot crits. Then back to elementals. Also the base puncture is better for Grineer than other factions. Not bad against Corpus robots tho. Dont try to use these against Infested, unless you're Ancient hunting :D
