Warframe Crashes Every Time When Attacking For The First Time

Wrong alert, nothing to see here. It works after a reboot...

It really was that easy.

When I join a mission and try to use any weapon, the game locks up for about 10-25 seconds, then crashes to desktop.

Things tested so far that cause immediate crash: Latron prime (twice), Phage, Galatine (twice), Ember's fire ring ability.

 

I can join a mission and run around, watch grineer shoot at infested and dodge the enemies. I can open containers and have my carrier kill enemies. But as soon as I try to use any weapon or warframe ability myself, the game locks up and crashes.

 

Fresh Warframe install on Windows 8, laptop.

Nvidia Geforce GT 620M 1GB with latest drivers and latest DirectX.

Intel Core i7-3517U @ 2.40GHz

 

Tried with both all graphics settings on default at 1280x720 and at all graphics settings on minimal.
