So For You Ash Players...

I was pondering on a build that wasn't staying in smokescreen for lengthy times and since my Ash has been since been sold I was hoping some of you could assist me here.

 

So I was thinking to myself, "Well people always compare loki to ash and I really like how he looks and his moves have potential and he he has much better toughness than his counterpart."  So I realized perhaps he isn't meant to be a lesser loki (Hear me out)!  Since Smokescreen is cheaper to use and stuns compared to Invisibility why don't we use a maxed fleeting expertise on an unranked smokescreen to make a super spammable stun?  This wont hurt Shuriken (I think) or Teleport and blade storm lessens in targets so it's more controlled.  Throw on a maxed Natural Talent and it seems to me this might actually work.  Fill his spots with  Health/Shield mods and what else you feel will work.

 

If anyone could try this out for me and if possible make a video showing if it works well, I would be very grateful!

It's certainly doable, but just having maxed duration smoke screen would be far more effective.

This build is totally wrong. I have maxxed efficiency, energy, shields, health, with a maxxed Intensify(for +30% strength). All I do is spam his ulti and I can solo survivals up to an hour. Ash is for the selfish player.

Don't call his build wrong. You don't mean its wrong. You mean you think yours is better. Its not really. Try not to ruin the forums by being callous and rude on purpose.

 

Op I like this idea. When I get free of new stuff again ill try it. Might be a long time but I will try it.

I'm not very familiar with Ash yet, mostly been working on him for Mastery, but I put a maxed out Natural Talent on him today and... wow.

 

Normally I don't use Blade Storm because it looks silly and takes a long time.  But I put that mode in and just sat back and watched the massacre.  Smoother kill transition and faster power start up.

Ash power builds are as said before, all about his ult skill. I haven't even forma'd him yet, and in a t1 surv at 35 minutes I was still oneshotting things with BS. His smokescreen is more of a oh s*** people are down, I gotta go save them, more then it is a spammable skill for a actual build.

 

If you wanna just shoot things all the time without using the killin potential of the character, use rhino, most people dotn even use stomp, they just iron skin and shoot for days.

I'm sure the animation speeding up immediately after I applied the mod is totally unrelated then.

According to people testing it, It doesn't affect it. But maybe they ninja'ed it in, in a recent patch.

I think that may be.  I'll have to make a video comparing animation speed with and without the mod.  After I learn how to do that.

Everytime peoples say that ash's blade storm is affected by natural talent, i feel like i have to check again. And every time, it's the same result.

Animation is effected.  That's the only thing, far as I know.  It doesn't touch anything else.

I would like to piggyback on this thread, if I could. I recently got Ash and am a bit...underwhelmed with his skills, particularly his ultimate. I think it's more my fault than the fault of the frame for not modding it right.  What mods should I throw on to boost BS (and possibly smoke screen)? Just strength and efficiency? I don't really care for shuriken or teleport.
