Question

well my forge is backed up with prime weapons and normally i just go right to ruk for farming the cells but lately the bosses have been dropping common resources, and not even alot of them ruk has been dropping around 120 plastids so anyone know a good place to farm cells or other rare resources?

I do Lech Kril. Easy to kill, relatively fun, fast, drops three out of five times. However, there is an Infestation in Saturn right now, if you wait until it reaches the boss node, Phorid usually has a very good drop chance and is an even bigger pushover than Kril.

Survival on Saturn, Derelicts.

Derelict Defense.

Sargus Ruk

IS Elephant (sometimes referred to as Lephantis)

and all other bosses also can drop Orokin Cells (however on average not as high a rate as those two).

pick your poison. mostly it'll be preference on which type of mission is most enjoyable for you. Bosses have a larger chance to get a drop, but doing a Survival (preferably Derelict IMO), could yield 0, or yield more than a dozen.

Then I probably haven't gotten the hang of Ruk, because I can kill Kril quite fast. The trick for Kril is: slide by his side, he'll make the spinning hammer strike and end up with his back to you, weak spot wide open. Hit the weak spot and run some 20m away from him; this will immeditely make him use one of his two ice attacks and freeze himself. By doing this, you minimize the time it takes to kill him. His AI is quite predictable.

As for him never dropping one for you, well, I have no idea. On average, it's three every five times for me.

As for Sargas... I dunno how to get his damn weak spots to open.

which tower... 1...2.. or 3?

I did three Tower III Survival Void missions looking for Rhino Chassis. Haven't found a single Chassis but I did get a crap load of Orokin Cell rewards. I did 60 mins, 45 mins and 45 mins again accordingly.

Seems running Phorid is profitable as well, as long as you have the time to spare.  @.@

They open by themselves, you just have to wait. And if you have a strong enough weapon you can kill him on the 1st or 2nd open. There's 3 weak spots, the 1st is his arm, after that is exploded his chest opens up, and after that, his back. But I've seen people able to kill him as early as his first weak spot, it's just harder to aim because he's always flailing it.

The problem is it's quite an unreliable way to go about it hehehe. You have to be on at the right time with the right amount of free time.

Oh, and here I thought there was a trick to it. I'm tempted to stay with Kril since I know how to bait his AI... but I'll see if I can make an OP enough weapon to make Sargas drop faster, anyway. Thanks for the info!
