Is Ember Prime A Status Thing?

So I'm breaking my balls getting ember prime parts, I see it has no extra polarities just switched them around.

So I'll ask the question, besides cosmetics is there any advantage over a regular ember warframe?

Gold plating and extra Mastery.  Beyond that... not so much.

 

EDIT:  Yeah, forgot about the Void thing.  Thanks for reminding me, Darzk.

 

Any Prime and nearby teammates will regain full energy when running by those white and gold balls in the Void.  They usually are the spinning laser traps but sometimes they're thumpers.  

 

You don't need to shoot them when they're in-active, but if it is active, you have to disable it before you can get energy.

But in this case, its mostly about the looks. I cannot stand the base Ember, so fugly imo. EP is much better :D

 

Difference between having chicken legs and a wrapping in gold which resembles chicken legs :(

IMO the Prime polarities are much better. Also the looks are better. So for me, it's simply just better.

yep. However it's no major drawback when most of your fellow Tenno use E- Siphon. (Aura)

 

I found her aesthetics worth 140.00 Bucks. Trust me.

Depends on how you want to use it.

 

For example the only power I give my Ember Prime is "World on Fire." In addition to that I equip Redirection and the 3 mods that boost power duration (Constitution, Continuity, and Narrow Minded). Beyond that, I equip whatever, though typically energy efficiency, power range, and power damage mods.

 

With only one power and the occasional use of energy restores its easy to keep World on Fire continuously active for an entire mission.

 

Another benefit of only equipping one power is that I have forma'd the other power mod slots in favor of equipping 3 more power amplifying mods
