The F**** Nightmare That Is Playing Infested

so i did an infested mission not long ago and i got alot of problems with what i encounterd 

 

first of all, ancients responding speed, i can be running with a loki using volt's sprint power and being at the edge of their reach and they will still knock me down immidietly, which after a minute becomes the worst thing ever, you cant even get in their reach or you will be knocked down and at best you'l lose your energy at worst you'l die, and even the normal enemies can stunlock you but i really got no problem with that, since its avoidable, another thing is i was playing in a grineer ship, and what the hell is it with those door lasers??? DE is going to far with taking energy away, with ancients? sure, with magnetic proc by every aoe wep? sure, but enemies that even if you enter their 25 ammeters reach they take all of your energy and shields? you can even be in other rooms and your energy is gone, and doors! that take away your energy with every room you pass unless you stop in every door and shoot that god damn bar is so god damn annoying, and the worst part is even tho i was fighting with the grineer the doors still took my energy and shields, i never thought i'd stop playing because the game becomes annoying but right now i might, because i cant use any of my abilities unless i play corpus or super slow, 

 

please change this, its not only difficult, its ridiculously annoying! please change this and thanks for reading.

Its meant to be a challenge. Ancients are meant to be avoided. The magnetic doors can be deactivated by shooting the green thing on top.

You have never experienced pre-Damage 2.0 Infested did you? Two words: Toxic Ancient.

I seriously cannot understand player logic. When DE introduced all these mechanics, players cry and say the Game is hard OMG NERF THE ENEMIES ITS RUINING OUR FUN WE WANT TO NUKE EVERYTHING WITH MY SKANA

When DE grants your wish: OMG GAME IS TOO EASY MAKE IT MORE CHALLENGING PLZ

*facepalm*

Let me tell you, the game was far more ridiculous back then. Rollers (pre-nerf). Nervos (Before removal). Original Toxic Ancient. The enemies right now are a JOKE compared to them. Yes. I said it. A JOKE.

Oh gawd. Without armor ignoring weapons.... they were terrifying.

i get it, yer ragin (12 months ago I was where you are now, but i was dealing with the original toxic ancients)

but srsly u just need to learn to have some situational awareness

ALL doors/traps can be disabled by shooting them if u are careful and pay attention

ancients can be avoided by dodging/rolling/sidestepping

this stuff might be difficult for you now, but trust me when i say this, after you learn how to deal with these "problems" u will realize that the game has basically zero challenge (besides event high scores), and that in truth, Warframe needs MUCH MORE content like what you are currently complaining about

I had a similar experience while doing an Invasion mission and siding with the Grineer against Corpus.

 

Why do Grineer doors adversely affect you when you are fighting on their side?

 

Grineer doors should only affect the enemies on that mission.

so why is the topìc title related to infested, when the most of your post is being annoyed about the Grineer galleon tiles.

 

Infested after Damage 2.0 are probably the easiest enemies to deal with as long as you have a weapon that deals slash or toxic / fire / gas damage, because they don't hit you from afar and you can easily outrun or outclimb them (METAL BAWKSES!). As for the ancients knocking you over, if you see they're winding up the punch and you can't run out of the way, either ROLL or BLOCK immediately. either will generally avoid the knockdown, and blocking even stops their energy-leech attack from destroying your energy pool. After blocking it, you can then run away from them, as they need to be a certain distance from you before they engage their dash mode again.

Infested at a distance are literally no harm to anyone. Unless you find one of those really, really rare crawlers that lob toxic grenades or shoot lightning at you.

dodging? rolling? the only way is staying away from them, and dont treat me like a noob i play this game alot, and it has nothing to do with awareness, its ruining the game to stop at every damn door in a map with a total of 100000 doors, ok?

well i was on an infested mission and that was where i experienced all of this, and as i said you can be running so fast that even in slow mo you'l be running in a loki sprinting speed and they would still get you immidietly, im not kidding, try it now, and tell me if thats avoidable

Also, a lot of melee weapons have wide AoE KD attack.  Get surrounded?  KD them.

Corpus lasers last time. They will reduce your shields to 0 and knock you down. People died to this, and complained saying it was ridiculous, when in reality they are treating the Corpus cameras like decorative lights. DE went ahead and made the cameras so obvious with lights and sounds, but people still dont care about the cameras and get slapped by lasers. This is rushing. DE is trying to reduce rushing in this co-op game. If there are no obstacles like this everyone will be speeding through the map and leaving helpless players to die. They are trying ways amd means to make sure the squad stays together.

I dont mind these new hazards at all. The white flash was ridiculous as it affects player health, but after they removed that, its reasonable. It only encourages you to play more carefully instead of rushing through the map.

just so you'd know i was soloing survival, sooo yeah, not everyone you are knocking on the &#! every 2 meters is a rusher, and atleast corpus cameras you can roll and avoid, but you cant do that to the shield taking energy draining health draining computer destroying doors!

Sliding through laser doors was a bug. A bug that took a damned long time to get removed. Yes you can avoid those doors. SHOOT. THE. SOURCE.

i was "back then" too and you are bc'ing, no enemy could take all of your energy and shields from 25 meters, or health, or taking away energy every room you pass, enemies just attacked and tried to hit, rollers did the same thing as they do now but without the slash procs every two hits, there were no naplams techs bombardes, so give me a break, the only difficult thing was bosses and heavy gunners sometimes
