Just Created A Clan - Recruitment Question

HI everyone,

 

I just created a clan and I have a question about recruting. 

For now, I want new recruits to be soldier rank (I don't want them to be able to manipulate the architecture just yet, but I want people to be able to recruit and host games if they want to).

My question is, when I recruit someone, will I have the option to choose what rank I want them to be or will they be automatically assigned a rank and there's nothing I can do about what they're allowed to do?

Since you created the clan, yes you will be able to do pretty much everything, including ranking up your members. Masters of a clan have every function.

when joining they will be put in soldier initiate automatically, after that you can upgrade or downgrade their rank, or you can change what any rank can do or access.

Um...You can promote and demote anyone at anytime. I really don't know why you wouldn't be able to.

Once they join, they are an Initiate (not Solider).  Just right click their name, and Promote, or you can just change the Initiate rank options so they're able to host/recruit.

 

I'd advise just promoting manually though and leave the rank options alone for future use.
