Kuestenjung
This is just an idea I came up with, not a concept, cause neither can I draw nor do I have any idea of balancing. Thought of it a few weeks ago that it kinda would be cool to have an spear, which you can use for melee and on the other hand can be thrown, similar to Kestrel and Glaive. I mean it´s a spear right? If you throw it it should/could work like a bolt, pinning enemies at walls. If you now think why should it be infested, well. If you throw it and pin enemies at walls, it of course wouldn´t come back like said weapons so one way to get it back could be to collect it, but wouldn´t it be cooler if you have just another spear growing on your back? Maybe having a bag with seeds. Please let me know what you think and maybe some suggestions. If someone likes the idea and likes to draw a concept, I would appreciate it. DangerDaddy
It'd be a nice side arm weapon for sure, but not a melee throwing spear (which I'd rather call a javelin TBH)
Meinulfr
could still be a melee weapon. reg attacks would use regular stabbing/ slashing attacks of say the orthos and the charge could either release a tendril that could be retracted (similarly to the rip line) or another one could regrow from a biomass located on the forearm/ back.
