Hit The Endgame Wall Early. Lack Of Formas Kills Progression.

So I have pretty much everything that can be got without using platinum, excluding the brand new Prime items. 

 

...And a dozen clan weapons that I can't build because the RNG simply refuses to give me forma blueprints.

 

The void isn't fun; it's just a grind to get the Prime parts and formas. But with the broken RNG, the only reasonable way for me to get most of the prime parts is trading, which is itself not particularly fun. And to top it off, I can't actually trade for Formas or forma blueprints. 

 

With no reliable or reasonable way to obtain formas, nothing I do feels like making progress, and between the generic gunplay, laughable melee, and janky parkour, the game isn't really fun enough by itself if there's no sense of progress. 

 

 

To be honest, if they made Formas something that can be replicated in one of the labs, then there would be a sense of progress. But really, even if Forma blueprints were reusable, it's not like they'd be all over the place; we'd still have to grind for Orokin Cells and Neural Sensors, and you can only build one forma per day.

But in all seriousness T2 survival and T3 Exterminate drop forma like there's no tomorrow.

Even ODD nowadays is raining with Forma, and these keys are, essentially, unlimited.

Try T3 Mobile defense, or T3 Ext. i've got like 16 Formas while farming Rhino P. / Boltor P.

And honestly, don't consider high level defense as end game, as far as i now, there's no endgame yet. just high level bullet sponges.

Not trying to insult you, but you've obviously spent what, 200+ hours playing WF.

Don't you think DE deserves a few bucks for that? If you are in any way able to pay it.

I was making 1 forma per day for past half year + occasional complete forma drops.

I have 3 forma left atm

 

But OP issue with forma drops is not the biggest problem here.

Biggest problem is that for him progression=new weapons

This should change, we should get content that isnt grind or new gear.

Like others said its no problem to get formas if you play void.  But still there is nothing to do, like you said, void is boring, no challenge, there is no any mythical 'end-game'

I have 20+ forma blueprints, believe me if you spend any time in the void you'll have more than you need. Formas do not need to be something you replicate in the lab or re-use.

Forma blueprints are extremely rare. They should be tradeable, because I still have lots of prime parts and most players are not willing to pay in plats.
